    Sir,I am a final year(MBBS) Indian Medical Student ,wants to enter in UK medical system after my MBBS completion but am in dilemma which path to choose PLAB or MRCP/MRCS , If I orient myself,start early ,focus on MRCP exams & crack it just after my MBBS internship ,I will be able to save 3 years (1 year of foundation year & 2 years of Core training) as against PLAB Pathway .
    What are all the challenges one could face on this Pathway?
    Is the Goal achievable or just sounds ambitious ?
    Kindly answer so that I can start early & outfront on the right path

      To get into the UK system post MBBS, you will need to take the PLAB pathway but if you do so after your post grad in India then you can consider the MRCS pathway.
      It is definitely possible and helps immensely if you start early and orient yourself on what you want to do.
      Do look into our Mentorship program and also at our success stories and consider that as an option if you find it suitable.
      Cheers !!

      Very bad prospects. Most mba placements look for marketing, finance,hr work experience in UG. We only get small jobs like 50-60 k per mth in hospitals or small virtual firms. No pharma company even takes mba. Sadly this is thr truth my friend did mba from IIM KOZIKODE . ITS 5TH BEST BSCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY EARNING ONLY 9 LAC PA. BUT HIS MBA BATCHMATES EARNING 30-40 LPA JUST COZ OF COMMERCE/ENGG UG DEGREE

      As replied elsewhere, you're best off confirming this with the medical council body / look up their official webpage.

    Sir after my MBBS degree in India can i directly study MRCS without any MS degree?

    • @EkanshDebuka
      @EkanshDebuka  2 года назад

      No, you would need to go through the PLAB route in that case.

      @@jayasuryas8874 It is enough to apply for it but you would have to still show completing of basic competencies after coming here for which you would have to work at the junior levels.
      It is generally the more accepted way to pursue PLAB after MBBS and the MRCS etc after your post grad in India.

      What if i work here under any surgeon for developing the skills needed? Is that accepted?
