    Passed first time with Bradley's 10 years ago - superb driving school! Still hate that ruddy Herrington Interchange roundabout though! 😄 Great, clear instructional videos on here Kenneth - thank you. Doesn't matter how long you drive for - always good to get a refresher from a pro.

    I was going to send a moany comment, but right at the end, you explained the bit I was desperate to know - making sure the right indicator is on when turning right, even if using the left of the 2 lanes to go right. That's the golden nugget of info the other videos haven't explained. So thanks!

    As it controls by traffic light and road marking, is a right signal before entering necessary?

  • @RachelRhiarti

    This is such a helpful video - thank you! How are you supposed to know which exit you need if you only have a road number in your directions; not a north or south?

  • @Forest_Knight
    @Forest_Knight 2 года назад

    Thanks for the great video. But why doesn't the lane you're in 14:43 let you exit the roundabout? Road markings show straight + right. You could exit to the right-hand lane (say, if there was traffic in the left lane), or am I wrong?

    • @BradleysDrivingSchool
      @BradleysDrivingSchool  2 года назад +1

      You could exit it in that lane I was in because the road markings say I can. But you need to get back to the left ASAP and the safest way is to get back to left straight after the 2nd exit, just like you do on a normal roundabout. You could exit in the right lane but if the roundabout is busy, you are making it much harder to get back to the left.

  • @vivienm2037
    @vivienm2037 2 года назад +1

    So... at the last roundabout. Even if your lane does not direct you to the left side before your exit, you can cut the lanes and just move over?
    Also is there any rule what line you have to follow (on your right or left), when you are turning right? Or does it depend on if it does split or not? I am confused.

    • @BradleysDrivingSchool
      @BradleysDrivingSchool  2 года назад +3

      Yes, you are supposed to change to the left lane if it is safe to do so……. When turning right and you have the choice of lanes. It’s best to pick the left hand lane. You would not get wrong choosing the right lane. Just making things harder for yourself. If it splits into 2 lanes on the roundabout, normally best to choose the left lane.

      @@BradleysDrivingSchool Thank you for your answer, and the video as well (I forgot to say thank you for it in the first comment).
      So basically you have to read the road and change into that lane you need, and you know you are on the good one if you are moving to the left? Because sometimes i suddenly find myself going around and around 😅, especially when the lines are faded and I am not sure if it is splitting or just one lane will be harshly turning over the left just before my exit. Is it any rule we should follow when the lanes and lines are completely run over each other or faded?

    • @BradleysDrivingSchool
      @BradleysDrivingSchool  2 года назад +1

      @@vivienm2037 yes. If you are going round and round. You need to count the exits as you go round. You should be able to see whether the lane splits or not, road markings poor. Then ring the council and complain.

    Hi, when taking the 3rd exit Sunderland A12321 back to the test centre, on approach can you just stay right and take up the right hand lane (without signalling) , that’s what my driving instructor told me? Instead of going in left lane then moving to right lane?
    Thank you

    • @BradleysDrivingSchool
      @BradleysDrivingSchool  2 года назад +1

      If it’s the roundabout an thinking of I would use the middle lane on approach, stay in the middle lane, then just as you are level with 2nd exit. Keep left and I would have the signal on for right until I pass the 2nd exit then signal left.

    • @saminan6480

      You can see the little dotted lines, also usually in a spiral roundabout everytime you pass an exit the lane shifts to the left by 1. (just as a rough guide)
