That trail must be cozy looking in the summer with the leaves. The winter also has its beauty being able to see through the trees. That tunnel area is awesome. You found a gem today for sure! Thanks Mike.
You were not kidding about gow beautiful this was! "WOW" is right. That pic you took down the tunnel was definitely the money shot. I loved the white birch trees too. There were tons of them where I grew up in Wisconsin.
That trail was just beautiful. I’m guessing you enjoyed it. Haha. Loved the stone wall that was just gorgeous. The tunnel was fantastic. Pity that the powers that be don’t go in there and cut out the vines or they will kill those beautiful trees. Thanks so much for taking me along. Please stay safe and take care
Beautiful during the day maybe a little spooky at night, someone did some cool planing when planting I can't believe the work that went into those stone walls or fences. Thanks Mike. Central California Watching
Thanks Benzcrazy😊 I love showing just beautiful our state and my area really is. There is so much gorgeous nature to get out and enjoy 😁 ill be passing through west Virginia on my thru hike of the Appalachian trail this April. Cant wait to take in its beauty!
Great to see you Mike!!! Haven't seen you in awhile!!! I loved this hike!!! Beautiful scenery and the Tunnel Vision Trail is amazingly beautiful!!! Thank you so much for sharing and taking me along on the hike!!! Take care stay safe on all of your adventures and God bless you Mike!!!
Awesome video as always. I’m super looking forward to the content for the Appalachian Trails. I may not comment but I’m always watching and liking your videos. Your channel continues to be a breath of fresh air and you handle your 1or 2 critics very well.
Mike love that tunnel of trees. Just like at Frances Slocum, when they are aligned like that they have been planted. Also, there are very few actual old growth forests in PA. The only one in Luzerne County area is Rickett's Glen. When you see walls like that, it probably means either farm land or property that was timbered as most of PA was. Hope that tidbit helps in your explores....Happy Trails!!
Hey Mike, you weren't kidding. The final couple hundred metres were the most impressive for the tunnel. But I also enjoyed the stone walled fences throughout the area....fantastic to see you out and about.
Haha this was unbelievable to see in person! I honestly stayed in this spot a good 45 minutes taking pics for my Instagram and Facebook! Cant wait to see it in the summer!
Hi Mike! Wow, the Tunnel Vision Trail was stunning! I can imagine it's beauty in all four seasons! I know the trail is gorgeous in the spring, fall, winter, and summer! The forest of vines was pretty cool to see as well. Great video Mike! Looking forward to your upcoming videos as you prepare for your big hike!
Oh my goodness, it's absolutely beautiful! I love that tunnel! What a gorgeous hiking area and such beautiful landscape! Awesome video Mike, thank you so much!
Oh my, gorgeous! Upstate NY here. Your footage is so smooth! If you don't mind sharing, what gimbal are you using? I have been searching a long time for something to smooth out my walking a bit. Thanks for sharing these beautiful places! PS LOVE THE BIRCH TREES!!!!
Aww wow thanks so much Cait! I appreciate those compliments 😊 its my pleasure, so glad you enjoyed the video. Love getting out and filming my hikes. Cant wait to film my thru hike of the Appalachian trail. Leave for Georgia on April 5 and head to Maine! The gimbal im using is the dji osmo 3. I use that with my Samsung galaxy s10+
@@OutNaturing You're welcome! I have cabin fever so looking for some unique less crowded state parks to hike/enjoy! Oh wow that sounds amazing! Enjoy the journey! I'm heading down to FL to explore some more of the incredible places down there next week!! Wow I never would have guessed this is phone footage! I'm sure that's much more convenient than lugging a camera setup around. I just got a light mirrorless and was torn between DJI & another brand. Thanks for the reply and have a great adventure! Looking forward to watching!
No problem at all. It's going to feel so great when you do get out! Definitely enjoy every second of it😁 Yeah I get that a lot with this phone about the quality of it. I give credit to the gimbal to Definitely. I usually just use my canon camera for photography when on trail. Lol still lugging it and some lenses in the pack
@@OutNaturing thank you, I for sure will! Haha that's awesome. I do a lot of birding but just picked up the RP to do some landscape/wide angle filming. I only have a crop frame wide angle atm, looking at the 16-35 f4L IS or maybe just the RF kit lens for now (all of my other lenses are heavy and/or telephoto).
Thats so awesome! I have an older dslr now. I just started shooting photography and filming just a year so far. Now that I love it I'm definitely upgrading when I get home from the trail. Be nice to have some new equipment!😁 You have some awesome equipment haha jealous
@@OutNaturing hey yea it’s definitely not marked I hiked 6 miles around before I found it. Just got home but thanks for the video or I would of never new that was their!!! Very cool spot for sure!

Where I live there is a pine tree forest too and legend has it that it is an inidian burial ground.
I would get hopelessly lost without blazes on a trail. 😆
Cool natural tunnel.

The trail wasn't clearly marked at all. It did have maps in the trees at certain places. From the entrance of the preserve I headed right 9n trail
