A quick video I made using my rug tufting gun. This one created loop pile. I'm using cheap acrylic yarn. You can purchase these guns here: tuftinggun.com/
Hi, I'm new to this and have done a few samples but I feel like a bit of an idiot because my samples are all loops of yarn at the front, should I be trimming all of the loops on the front of the rug to make it fluffy? Slightly confused 😕 thanks in advance
they are meant to be loops. There is another gun that does them without loops if that's what you want - tuftinggun.com/collections/frontpage/products/cut-pile-tufting-gun
Are you working on the reverse? I ask because I have pictorial canvases meant for traditional rug hooking (early American) So what you see is what you get. I would like to try to tuft them, but I am afraid the image will come out backwards.
Hey! I don’t have yarn on a cone is there anyway I can use the yarn I do have for my tufting gun?
I messed up and got yarn that wasn't on the cone. It will take some time but, I wrapped the yarn around the cardboard of the paper towel roll.
