It runs the entire length of the city, from East (working class) to West (through Brentwood and the Palisades, all the way down to the beach - i.e., wealthy). Housekeepers who work in Pacific Palisades and Brentwood but live in East LA (or even further) ride those buses for HOURS twice a day, trying to support their families. If they work on the more Easterly side of posh, they don't even get a seat. Their families still need food and homework help when they get to their own homes after 9PM or later. Their men are the gardeners, etc. Oops, no more houses and no more gardens = no more income. This tragedy affects everyone in LA, not just people who can kite off to their second or third homes.

Nope 0% When you deny desalination facilities and saving the water.Instead of releasing it into the ocean for a fish that's what happens. Climate change is a big fat lie.
It is the winds that is the problem. They have been gusting over 100mph, so it is literally a hurricane without rain. There have been periods where all the tanker planes were grounded because flight was too dangerous.
I think 16 is all they found. Confirmed bodies. There are WAYYYY more deaths. You can't call it a death unless you find a body but when everything is burning there won't be much left to find.
It doesn’t matter how expensive your home was. The tragedy is the same. Rich, middle class and poor are all terrified and grieving. I have dear friends on Sanibel Island who lost everything during Ian. The same attitude of ‘their rich’ was being felt in the aftermath. Do people think that because you have worked all of your life to live in a beautiful home that you somehow deserve the tragedy? It is SO extremely callous IMO. Expensive homes that are gone held the same memories, items from lost family members, photos, wedding dresses from 1972 that have carefully been stored all these years, pets, items treasured from your parents that have passed, and worst of all, possibly a friend or family member. Shall I go on? I think I have made my point. They are ALL facing a devastation that thankfully most of us cannot comprehend. I am sending heartfelt thoughts and love to all who are affected by this. Love from Ohio 💞💞💞💞
They spent their money on a luxury lifestyle in tinsel town, and no fire equipment. I lived in San Diego and LA. The lack of awareness of the big picture is amazing.. especislly in LA. You can no more prepare for a wildfire than you can prepare for a hurricane. With a hurricane at least you know it's coming and you can get out of the way. Fires except by lightning strike are caused by humans whether intentional or unintentional. The infrastructure in Los Angeles was not capable of handling this. There was a reservoir that was under repair but not finished. I think a lot of this is on the city of Los Angeles.
@@foxykcyou can prepare..water stations instead of Maseratis, pumping stations instead of diamonds, water storage tanks in back yards instead of lear jets.. building houses further apart..many many possibilities if you THINK!!!
You can prepare for fires that inevitably happen by deforestation and tending to the brush that grows rampant after the extremely wet winters we've had as of late. Also by ensuring adequate water flow into the aqueduct to southern California and having a governor that gets his priorities in order. Newsom needs to worry more about the people of California and less about the delta smelt. California was definitely unprepared for this inevitable disaster, it was the perfect storm.
Please Father God send rain to put out the fire. Only you my God can stop this. My God you have the power to do this you are the Almighty no else is above you. You my God are the Alpha and Omega your mercy and protection be with all of us and the world. Everyone rich and poor need to be close to you my God.

🌌😊☀️ This is because our lawns were too dry from being cut low, and the trees which used to hold the balance of the winds in check since the 1800's, which we cut to form and build our railroads, we haven't bothered replacing, and so this led to increased temperatures & wind speeds, and less humidity for generations, and this is the snowball effect. ☀️😊🌌

Your dams and waterways must be wisely reconstructed. This can not keep happening year after year. You had a BEAUTIFUL state. Work to get it back. Work to keep it SAFE for its inhabitants. Please!!!❤
Agreed. Development without consideration to how natural ecosystems help buffer disasters is a tragedy really. We see it over and over again. Honestly so sad

Exactly. Gods hand is at work here.
Arrest newsom for criminal negligence.
He is restricted. Has to respect property rights AND environment. So Cal is basically a desert. Ideally zoning laws would have been implemented after WW2.
@ well everyone just lose their property because he wouldn’t take care of the environment and the environment is gone too. Don’t try and act smart. He’s a criminal.
WHAT IS THAT ENDING OF THIS VIDEO
Moronic children.
So sorry for these Americans. Please update us on North Carolina. Maui, Tampa when you have a moment.
Bidenomics 🤣
No
Toxic Train wreck?
Tampa is literally fine lol we are small potatoes in comparison to what is happening in Cali rn. Some people and businesses got their homes and buildings ruined but honestly that happens every hurricane season. It’s not like the complete devastation that’s going on in Cali where entire towns are burnt to ashes.

Hawaiians and N Carolina prayed for Karma. Where is FEMA? Pay them $750 per family.
I don’t think all the blame goes to politicians in cali. People voted for these some what humans in charge. Yes I feel for these who have lost their life’s. But, these policies were adapted and voted for. I think now maybe you will realize your vote and who it’s for matters
Don’t feel bad at all, people in NC are still sleeping in the cold with now holiday or food.
Send NC sweaters. NC is cold? Nert.
Dear God in Heaven and abound, please send these people rain! Please send them comfort. Thank you for allowing me to look pass the hateful ignorant individuals who have nothing to do with this but judge without helping with a dollar or a prayer. Please help and thank you!

you sound incredibly foolish. Hollywood is a blip compared to the areas and people impacted by this. Do yourself a favor and don't try to speak for a diety.
MAGA is the ones who have mocked God. They put greed over taking care of God’s creation
god fake AF LMAOOOO
It has nothing to do with God. You religious freaks say this with every disaster.
So "God" burns people who are not even a part of that mocking? Just like he kills people on planes? Just like he kills children with cancer in Memphis? Thanks for confirming your God is a bastard.
I’m so sorry for the loss of life and for the first responders who are having to deal with so much !
I think that number is low as there has been no time of manpower to search the entire burn area.
Karen Bass and Gavin Nuisance MUST BE fired. They CANNOT continue.
Homer Simpson would have been a better Governor.
Best comment yet.
D'oh!
TRUTH!
This Catastrophic wildfire was very suspicious, why were all the yellow fire hydrants water were shut off that the firefighters can not use to extinguish the devastating fire.
that raises a proper & legitimate question, who was or what group of Evil forces were behind it, doesn't anybody think so?
I feel very bad & sad for those people who lost their homes, may God give them enough patience to cope with such a horrific disaster
& for those who lost their lives, God rest their souls.
16 souls i can feel sad for - NOTHING ELSE - can't feel sad for MASSIVE PRIVILEGES LOST - only that they should BE GRATEFUL they had such DECADENCE at all.
BECAUSE THEY STAGED it THAT WAY😎✌
All the water in the world would hardly have put these out with the way the winds were blowing the Cinders 5 Mi away and beyond.
yo ngl the only evil forces are the california government. theres actually fresh water mountain water that’s supposed to flow nd fill tanks for if things like this was to occur. i believe it was the governor who said no to filling the tanks nd send them to “help” a species of NON-NATIVE fish. also they were low on equipment cause can you guess what happened? they sent down equipment to Ukraine over the last 1-2 years. the only other disaster than the fire, is the show that they’re putting in trying to help other wildlife nd countries more than their citizens.
Ollohu Akbar Ollohga qaytinglar hammasi yaxshi boʻladi Ollohni dini xaq Olloh xa
Where is the support and assistance for Israel and Ukraine? Fires have the right to defend themselves and we call on both parties to exercise restraint.
Fire is just defending itself
Ordinary, UNwealthy people worked in grocery stores, banks, medical offices, etc. and they not only lost their homes, too, they also lost their places of employment.
Not many of those in any of these areas. Those are all upper middle class at a minimum.
@@5400bowen OH, have you lived there?? Do you know how long Sunset Blvd. is??
@ I lived right there. Even the cheapest rents are out of this world compared to any rural areas, or 99% of small to medium size towns out of the spotlight. There no "normal" people in those areas. LA is a pit of elites and wannabes..
Praying for everyone involved / affected by this 😢❤

No you are not
Imagine paying all that overly inflated house prices and insurance and taxes. Just to have a status. To then just watch your status burn like your ego.
Are you jealous?
@MasterRoss-sn7dl No.
just imagine loosing everything because of bombs wherever they go. Hospitals. schools, places of worship everything destroyed because one group of people wants to occupy their land. Man made catastrophe.
yep. Sadly, many are too brainwashed to notice what is happening. It is happening worldwide, so we shouldn't divide ourselves further.
Vote blue, keep voting blue, i want to watch it again
Finally a story that is current, those reruns of North Carolina were getting old.
They still haven’t gotten control of this fire!!!??
Nope

When you deny desalination facilities and saving the water.Instead of releasing it into the ocean for a fish that's what happens. Climate change is a big fat lie.
It is the winds that is the problem. They have been gusting over 100mph, so it is literally a hurricane without rain. There have been periods where all the tanker planes were grounded because flight was too dangerous.
Sounds 'Mostly Peaceful'.
What's peaceful about a fire?
@matt3024 he democrats called the massive liberal mobs that burned cities "mostly peaceful". The fires are mostly peaceful now.
Damn your whole state burns down and only 16 people died being homeless makes you immune to fire i guess
You can’t die in a housefire, if you don’t have a house
They'ed sell their grandmother to get into a TV commercial. These fires are a recurring phenomena and anyone with a brain can see it.
Thank God that the people are save

Gaza destruction is for a great reason, Los Angeles is from incompetence.
Who cares about Gaza
Sending prayers to everyone in California. And all the first responders
I am still perplexed on how the Ocean Front Homes burned to ashes, yet the homes on the other side of the street remained intact. I mean the homes in ashes had nothing between them but road and water.
don’t forget New Mexico!! They actually admitted to starting the biggest fire in New Mexico history
This was not nature I bet government know what really happened
What about North Carolina !!!!80% of this county cares about cali just like the government cared about North Carolina just give the Californians $750 that should be enough right!
They care about California because it's the 5th largest economy in the world
How can you compare they are going to get the same treatment. This is a fire not water
It's just crazy how this wasn't prepared for . They were aware of it possibly could happen
My prayers 🙏🏼 to all the residents over there , also praying for a speedy recovery and healing toweds the families, friends, homeless, and businesses.

This is because our lawns were too dry from being cut low,
and the trees which used to hold the balance of the winds in check since the 1800's, which we cut to form and build our railroads,
we haven't bothered replacing,
and so this led to increased temperatures & wind speeds, and less humidity for generations, and this is the snowball effect. ☀️😊🌌
