I use Gerlitz Guitar Honey on the fingerboards of all my fretted instruments. It's the best cleaner/conditioner I've ever tried.

What to do to keep all our used strings out of the landfill? Can they be recycled ♻️ or is there an organization that reuses or modifies them for other purpose? What can you tell me?
What kind of water do you suggest for case humidifiers? Do they need distilled water or does tap water work?
Great questions! The humidifier that I, Andrew, use (this one: amzn.to/2gVLyJY) instructs to use only distilled water.
What can I do about sticky tuner knobs? I don’t know if someone handled it while I wasn’t looking, but they are black rubber. I would appreciate any suggestion.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure. I've never come across this issue. Maybe there is a local luthier at a music store that could take a look at it for you?
I’ve had my ukulele for 5 years. Mostly been in case for 5 years. I need new strings on it?
I would change them due to age.
@@RockClass101 okay. Trying to decide if I should get g high or g low string on it. I believe it’s a concert ukulele. It is 24” long. The g string is high on it.
I'd stick with High G, because sometimes when you switch from high to low G, you'll need to have the uke setup again since the string gauges are different between the two.

I'm not sure if we'd be qualified to answer that. Maybe you can reach out to a local luthier for advice?
What's the advantage of a microfiber cloth over, say, a soft cotton cloth?
Either should be fine if you're just wiping down the strings. For wiping dust off the instrument, microfibers are suppose to help prevent fine scratches.
The G and C strings of my soprano buzz on each other when they are played together. What could be causing it?
In the video, Matt mentions 2 tricks to stop string buzz, as well as, touching on how humidity plays a role in buzzing. If those don't alleviate the issue, I'd recommend taking it to a luthier. They'll be able to help you 😊
All great reasons to make sure I never buy a uke over $100, unless I'm being paid to play it, ROFL.
My instruments stay in stands, so they get played. I'd never buy something I *had* to store. How ridiculous.
Good to still maintain your uke so you eventually can pass it along to another to play & keep it out of the landfill when you are done with it.
