Make sure you land into the wind. Go out and find some slopes..practice slope landings. Your heli operation book will tell you how much slope that particular heli can handle. Master those and your going to be a fantastic heli pilot. You are doing a very good job at!!! Thanks for sharing. ❤
Angel, The Jeppeson apps in Victoria falls scene pack is by far the most intriguing for helicopter small tiny pads with animated people around them! Makes a good scenery to do some chopper flying in about 15 different Heli pads! There is also a jet boat that you can practice racing with, there are rafters that you can follow down the rapids, and there is a bunch of hang gliders!! There is also a bridge with a bungee jumper that passes right by your hovering aircraft. If you want some challenging canyon runs and really interesting places to land I suggest this incredible visual treat! There is also EVEREST HELIPADS that offers from the marketplace another great pack for heli pads!!! Now you should combine some bush flying with chopper flying and do some shark tooth Ridge or Mexican mountain precision landings right by their campsites! You are always so much fun and I look forward to your wit !!!!!! 😅

Great flight, did this flight with friends a while back and its sad in a way because you can see how the glacier is receding and how much lower it is compared to the erosion on the cliff sides.
This has been my playground since it came out, first in the Cowan 206 and now the H125 - I was in mount cook late march, the scenery is very accurate, even the interior of Mount Cook terminal, and the hermitage hotel up valley.
Good work! Dunno why - but I always think that helicopter flights like this need background music. "Paint it Black" would be nice. Hover practice needed.
And I almost forgot, I recently picked this up and this is helicopter missions in the Alps with fire on the side of the mountain, an accident scene with SKUs down, a rescue mission, and a lot of other goodies by REDWING the name of the pack is LAUTERBRUNNEN
the 500 is a lot more controllable if you use the pitch trim (standard fixed wing elevator trim buttons work) Id love it if CowanSim introduced in flight tablets so you can change the load at drop-off/pickup points..add people/baggage etc...
AvAngel...practice hovering on a level attitude...you're not suppose yo pick up speed to a landing. I land from external view mode. Easier to see how level you are before landing.😅❤❤❤❤
