I love the old schools videos, looking at Paul explaining step by step, calculating "manualy"...the software is great but I think you should do more videos like this, they're fucking great
Been watching the 8 pillar videos for months now but I love how you go deeper into what you do in this video. Also love how much you're struggling with the new board lol
Omg it's so cool to see older videos. You guys have come so far!!! I was retired out of the military due to injuries from my deployments so 90% of my time these days are watching you guys and researching companies I'm interested in. I need a laptop now for the software until the app comes out! I'm all in on you guys. Dream job would be to come work for you 3! Thanks for everything guys. So much.
amazing video, thank you. actually was taking notes the entire time and have been relaying this information to my friends. This is what makes me love the market
This popped up on my recommendation 2 years later. The saying is the stock Market can be insane longer then you can be sane. I agree it was overvalued at 100 billion all these Tesla idiots will keep buying it up no matter what the valuation is
man i hate when Seth says he's stupid or less intelligent than the rest of the guys. he may not have had the same resources or experience as the others but he has been humble enough to recognize his short comings and sat down to learn and improve. That's smart. I know this video is old but he still talks like this two years later. They may be doing this in order to have a relatable (?) figure for beginners, but that may not be the best route in my opinion. nevertheless, good video.
I'm not disagreeing that Tesla was a buy or not because I personally don't invest in the automotive industry (don't know enough about it from an investing perspective), but as you know hindsight is always 20/20.
Been watching old videos since I only found you guys this year. Just want to give Seth a big congrats on the weight loss. Legend effort....Unless the reason is meth.
Not yet but if you watch the vids over snd over you can write it down and we are creating an app thatll come in the next 6-12 months thatll do it for you. - PG

Not aging well. TSLA was $23.5 per share (split adjusted) when this video was made. Today 8/11/23 Tesla sells for about $240 per share. That is almost 1000% return. Ouch!
Well I think maybe this video didn't age too well for you guys. Tesla in March 2020 was $28 aprx per share. Now selling for $200/sh in 2023. Almost a 1000% increase in 3 years. Maybe it goes back to that $28 number , but maybe it doesn't. Still you were wrong on not buying it, at least taking a position in it since it is such a revolutionary company. Sometimes value investors miss out on great opportunities. I am not knocking your system, but it doesn't always work.
12:52 I wonder when he will finally admit the value of Tesla is correct? Does GM, Ford, Toyota etc. all need to be either bankrupt or almost gone first? I would suggest people watch Rob Maurer of Tesla Daily to get an idea of what the numbers actually pan out to when you have someone who actually understands the business.
7:35 Doesn't even know that Tesla doesn't advertise lol. You are certain to miss the boat on the next big company if you do such a surface level look into it.
Wait, I am super confused.... Why does it show tesla at 609 in march 2020. Wasn't the price of 1 share of tesla at like 80??? How did you get 609 haha?
I mean he's not really wrong, the stock is still insanely overpriced and when a stock market crash happens hype stocks like this will fall the fastest. Over long periods of time his method will win.
@@travisskeans2511 is it though? AI day is tomorrow. Will Paul still call it solely a car company when they have some of the best AI tech in the world? @@irishoverseer1385 I get the projection of the company and I agree it'll be the biggest car company in ten years. Only reason I believe that is because I trust in Elon. But it's not a sure thing and at the current price it way over valued and if we have any dip in the whole market it will drop drastically.
Hhahaha i didnt age nicely…its nt gonna be a trillion dollar company…look at what it did a year ago and after being down 60% from ath is still 5 times to when this video came out lmao
It's incredible how the production value and style of the show has improved from a year ago.
Thanks for watching and commenting in this older videos -AP
yes, that's what I thought.. it has improved massively.. I love it.
Yes

What a throwback this is ! You've all come a long way
Just started to watch old videos :) And, I am really surprised how much better you are now!!! Love you guys! Best channel about value investing :)
What a transformation. Seth is now fit, Paul has his own 8 pillar app. What a difference a year makes.

I'm still learning how to use the stock analyzer tool but overall I really enjoy the software. Alot of value for a little amount of money.
Thank you very much❤

Great video. But how will you know if the GM is over or undervalued? How to determine the stock price of a company..?
Useful info. for newbie investors like myself. Great content 👍

Msft has also doubled since this video was made.
one year later microsoft is at 237 looking back was it still over

Do you look for a specific price or market valuation when buying a company? If so, how do you calculate that?
Just to show you charts and value don't me nothing when you got the market got your back.inside deal
Damn, show has come a long way.
So what are you guys think now you should’ve probably looked at the free cash flow
Watching this more than one year later... TSLA stock is still 600$, its definitely a buy (troll, I'm not gonna mention the stock split :)) )
they had a stock split though, so 600$ now would be 3000$ then
And Tesla keep Going ATH....I should have bought only one stock
