- The trial of Young Thug and his YSL co-defendants begins its 21th day after the judge issued an unexpected delay for days.
In the days since the trial was put on pause, a video of a jail call between the Atlanta rapper and his girlfriend, Mariah the Scientist, was shared online, which led rappers Drake and Meek Mill to speak out against how they felt Young Thug was being treated.

One thing about it , the jury will see right through this . If we are home and can tell how bias this judge is . What do you think they will say? Mistrial or they are not guilty . Guaranteed
Its like the lawyer cant get his questions in this is crazy. And he continues to find ways to ask. They must know he has something that can help his client. The D.A and this Judge are horrible.

This is fxckin crazy. She fought that down until the judge just decided to not play the song at all, a song that the DA chose to bring up, lyrics that she pointed out and now that Mr Steele wanted to play the song the DA is objecting and the judge is in agreement? He overruled the state and then went back on it. Please get rid of this judge and this DA at this point. They working hard, together with no case. This is ridiculous. It’s clear that the DA didn’t want anyone on the defense side to present a case at all. They can’t question the witness, they can’t present their evidence. It just seems the state is the only one that can present anything or do anything. This is real bullshxt.
She does this all of the time. He makes a ruling for defense, she will jump up and argue til he changes his mind. Nfortunately, Mr. Steele was right that he should have been allowed to play the song after the NPR tag was removed. Sadly, this is our in- justice system at work.

The only reason the judge didn’t admit 38,40 as evidence at that point and time is because the evidence is fresh and presenting the actual lyrics at that point contradicts the witness previous statements and it losses direct interest but instead the judge is setting that evidence for a later time which helps the prosecution’s evidence and demote there own witness. After watching this whole trial since it started young thug is

Steele and the rest of the defense team HAS TO learn how to fight dirty... I saw this from opening statements, he's too soft. His idea that he can just portray a loveable and caring image of Mr. Williams will have to take a back seat, while Mr. Steel learns how to discredit, redirect the jury's beliefs of witnesses and push an entirely different narrative then the state's publishing. They've just walked all over the defense in terms of taking advantage of the system and pushing the limits of rules and regulations... tactics are dirty.. Defense shouldn't be any different.
