It is basic courtesy especially for an interviewer . This attribute has made the interview cringe-worthy. 2. Research Research RESEARCH!!! As far as I know Priya sisters have provided wonderful and soul stirring Tamil compositions. You have no right to accuse or slander artists just because they are patient. It just says that you have gone there to waste some time. 3. This is an interview for god’s sakes not a police enquiry!! Please tone down your questions . You have asked them for an interview not the other way round. Overall I never expected such a great anchor to conduct such a deplorable and poorly researched interview.
Music is divine. it is only in tamilnadu most forums divide people and vidwans and vidhushis in the name of language. kirithis in classical music is more than trillion spread in all indian languages including tamil.
Don’t understand why the sisters feel so conscious about Tamil keertanas. Who says one should sing Tamil songs in concerts? Why should someone sing Tamil kritis? No Tamil kriti can come close to the linguistic strength and beauty of Sanskrit or Telugu songs. The greatest musician Dr. M Balamuralikrishna rarely sang tamil kritis. Even the ones he sang were his own compositions. Carnatic musicians are not obligated to spread Tamil music. Please stop this silly and immature notion.
