I remember my parents bought Scotland in Song (cassette) during a trip to Scotland many years ago. It was enjoyed so often that the tape broke, so I bought the CD for them. It's wonderful music.
It's such a great tune. One of my violin students has fallen in love with it and wants the sheet music - I'm happy to pay for it, but do you know where I might find it? Obliged!! Judy
och thons a hellish braw tune lyk..!! hoo dae yee learn tae play thons?? it'd lyk tae ken coz me an ma pal are goin to try an play it in a talant contest.. :L
it's in the Scots language, but he's spelling things badly like some people do in English. Not sure why it's been voted down, all he's saying is that it's a good song and he wants to learn it to play it in a talent contest. Hope it went well for the lad as I now see it was back in 2009 he said that!
Fine banjo playing.
