Yeah. It really surprised me when I was watching all these gypsy clips and videos and the mothers are angry and horrored that their children just wanna go to college and make their own future. It's a refreshing feeling when seeing someone like kristen's mom actually wanting to support her but also wanting her to become her own person before making a big decision like Trouble.

Your Mom is right. My Mom actually said the same thing. Never count on a Man to support you. I am now 64 have have been on my own for about 40+ years, after divorce. Always took care of myself. I buy my own things. My house and cars are all mine. My furniture, all mine. All 3 of my kids are hard workers because of all the women in our family. They are all hard workers. I have 2 adult daughters and my Adult Son.
Hell yeah, you baddass! One thing my ex always used to say to me after 4 years together that I was too mentally unstable to pay my own bills and look after myself and for the longest time it was imbedded into my head that I had to stay with him because he's willing to stay with me even with all the mental issues... Turns out he was just manipulating me for years and here I am a year and a half later living by myself and actually feeling like myself after so long... I hope your story inspires more young ladies who are told that they need men to survive because knowing that from young ages makes you think eh well maybe that's how life goes "you get married you have kids etc"
