OK, I know this will be nerdy of me but, the Qunari are actually really intricate and fascinating from a writing standpoint. As I understand it, they're the only race added entirely by the imagination of the writers (elves, dwarves, etc are all staples of fantasy already) and they are meant to be woefully misunderstood by design. They crave self-improvement to the point of perfection and so are less willing to do things that they have not masted, which is off-putting... Qunari not good at speaking your language? Well they'll just stare at you menacingly... not good at dancing, well music is playing they'll just stare at you... Taking the really interesting Qun they live by and the design of their characters and even from DA: Inquisition being like "Na these guys are like barbarian warriors, and like you know they're really scary and actually quite dude-bro chad frat boy when you get to know them" it's SO STUPID I hate it so much lol, who are these new writers lol

Inquisition sucked. Setting aside the fact that veilguard betrayed the original lore to an insane degree, this is probably a better game than inquisition overall. You can see the comic book sterotypes all over this scene and it's sad imagination is dead and all we have is hallow imitations because the people with money are allowed to make things while those with imagination likely lack the resources to even get started lol.
at least in anime we have no woke / DEI shit
@@PipePeter anime has its own problems...
@PipePeter there are so many anime where characters are gender swapped. Plus, there was a whole show with yasuke the black samurai as the mc.
Yes! Oh my god finally someone said it! Anime has damaged writing to a disgusting degree to the point of every "fight scene" making you wanna roll your eyes back
@@HumeAnn you got these childish activists whose only profesional skill is using twitter and writing articles for kotaku intentionally ruining every company they get DEI-hired into as top executives, and you go blaming anime for that, make sense.
Don't tell me...the bad guy in this game is A straight white guy
They're actually elven gods. One of which is a woman. Both are blighted and deformed.
@hassamlatif1169 well well...find me corrected...and suprised
straight while elf
@Lucius2-pl9or how do you know he's straight though? Zeus took Ganymede in addition to all the women afterall. We're talking about gods in a world where homosexuality happens a bit.
@@hassamlatif1169cause in Inquisition solas only romance option was a female elf Inquisitor sooooo...
Since when do Qunari breathe fire?
Everyone’s got a gimmick now
My thoughts exactly, not a single qunari from the previous games did this but suddenly one can with no explanation whatsoever 🙄
Since Bioware died and its corpse was put on life support as creatively devoid devs wore its rotting face, idk.
She has a multicultural background, it's like 3 different races I think
Maybe they identifies as a dragon lmao 😂 ( reading that outloud sounds so grammatically bad )
I won't say that american accents don't belong in fantasy, because plenty of characters have them in elder scrolls games and it works for me. however, something about the american accents in THIS game make it seem so much cheaper and less professional. obviously it doesn't make sense that everyone be british or something either, but it really feels like all the cutscenes I've seen so far feel off.
I felt like I was transported to a Los Angeles Starbucks for much of the dialogue.
It’s def this character because Varric fits, the words they use are all off it’s very modern
Did she just assume that dragon's gender?!?
The codex says that all dragons are female in dragon age. Been that way since origins
@@hassamlatif1169 But what if the dragon identifies as male?
@@hassamlatif1169 What if the dragon identifies itself as an apache helicopter?
@@rottenapple01 dragons pretty much are attack helicopters anyways

I'm not familiar with Dragon Age, but why the characters look like clown? Heck even JRPGs with outlandish character designs don't look as bad as this
the qunari design is so ugly the enemies are too ashamed to show their faces
The enemy qunari look cool though. The da2 design was the best.
I guess the writing team didn't know what to do with them so they decided to make them punching bags. Cuz the players need something to kill and not feel bad about? 🤷♂️
even the Qunari in Inquisition was a downgrade from DA2 and DA:O
Me: God I hate bad writing.
Wonder Woman: Hate is useless.
Me: (Giving her a useless stare)
@@littlehopeleft did she actually say that?
He should have done his ten pushups
The qun demands it......
Also "Not like I follow the qun, but you have the robes...So doesn't mean you get to tell me who I am"
God the writing is so bad
More like: "The power of genderfluid commands you!"
No way! The strong, independent "woman" showed a group of men how strong she is and they didn't immediately bend her over?
So realism! Much believe!
How is that different from killing bandits in dragon age origins with morrigan, leliana, and wynne in your party though
@@hassamlatif1169you didn't hear morrigan, leliana and wynne gloating about how they were strong independent wymmyn whenever they offd a bandit
@viniciusyugulis7278 morrigan, leliana, and wynne can defeat bandits and not be "bent over". Exactly what the op said.

Every woke indoctrinated person: "THEY ARE OUR KUEENG🥰".
(Because Queen or King are offensive words).
Cringiest thing I have ever seen in RUclips comments
Games went from being the ultimate male fantasy (which was excellent imo), to self-insert non-binary never-played-a-game-before game directors self fantasies
I thought Concord was cringe... actually nah Concord is still more cringe. This is a 1/10 aswell but Concord was a 0/10
Concord is what happens when people like these devs cannot rely on popularity of a series or a studio that was built by someone else.
They managed to sneak Yakub into the game. Sneaky.
Lmaoo 😂
In the next dragon age game someone is getting the dynamite😂
Don't worry, brothers, we have the strong non binary with us
Who are the 84k dorks playing this on steam right now? This is awful.
Been wondering that myself. This is peak amateurishly
They giving free copy as long youre woke enough and ideniftu as trans, free generate codes. So the number are inflated by meme streamers, freebies, and nvidia buy gpu free game. Probably less
Devs & shills
Same dorks that played bg3.
I think EA pay them to play this.
The american accent with the fictional language is the cherry on top
Cringe aside, the pure idiocy of the armor design where theres no visible seam at the front or back of the characters scale mail. That Queernari has to pull that scale shirt on over those horns. Also lets not have the armor cover the biceps or abdomen. Peak idiotic fantasy armor.
The dialogue feels like it was written by a seven year old with selfesteem issues
wow zevran was so much more graceful for the few minutes he got before he got his throat slit
Maybe AI wrote this? I’ve used it in some story making stuff and it usually makes happy ending cringe.
Shame on you for using AI in 'story making stuff'.
@ I don’t use it for profit or replacement
it does sound like chatgpt level of writing lmao
It’s like this game is everything a trans wishes they could do.
it's like games were everything people wished they could do, isn't it?
If I was to ever play this game and got to that cutscene, my immediate thought: "Wow. Can I just...let her get unalived and be on my way?"
of course you wouldn't have thought that if a manly man had done that
Strong independent girl boss just girl-bossing.
this plays out like a non binary person having a woke fantasy- "I'm non binary and you will respect my pronouns"
yes. Except for the fact that this specific scene has nothing at all to do with that. Maybe it's about your fantasy of shitting on a non binary person and finding ways to ridicule them because you hate them so much?
I didn't have my glasses on. I thought the characters name said "trash" lol
It's like watching Mortal Kombat: Anhilation for the first time all over again.
I got an ad and for a half second I had a brief moment of hope that the game got better.
These videos and comment sections about this game are more entertaining than the game itself
I swear an Indian directed this scene, the ridiculous number of camera angle changes with the music, you can only see that in Indian films!
lmao indian films lmao lmao lmao

Why do they sound like they are from 2024
Somehow....they made someone being burned alive gay.
Oh wait.
Dragon age origins is a billion times better than this garbage.
Even inquisition was a really good game.
This is a disgrace to dragon age series.
Inquisition sucked. Setting aside the fact that veilguard betrayed the original lore to an insane degree, this is probably a better game than inquisition overall. At the very least it is not a mmorpg that got converted into a single player game, with no interesting side quests and the most generic, useless plot ever that is basically reduced to a prologue and like 4 quests throughout the whole game... one of the worst games of all times, repetitive, boring and with one of the emptiest open worlds I have ever seen. It got praised so much without any reason, besides the fact that it was dragon age and it seemed better than its disastrous predecessor. Still Dragon Age 2 with all of its flaws, had a much more interesting story and side quests
@@shikarymtg dude, just shut up. Inquisition had a very good writing and the gameplay was ok.
The only problem with Inquisition was the technical aspect, because it was bad optimized. Aside from that, the game was very good overall.

I used to think that the Qunari were the most badass, OP race in DA. But after seeing these Veilguard posts, I just can’t even bring myself to take them seriously anymore.
