Oriyomi intentionally shut his eyes on the allegations levelled against the other wives that brought the matter before him. Oriyomi failed to blame the other wives for leaving their husband's house for several years and only came to the matrimonial house after the death of their deceased husband. Oriyomi should have blamed these other wives and told them that perhaps if they were physically on ground in their deceased husband's house, the first wife wouldn't have had the opportunity to exhume the corpse of their deceased husband.
