I've always been into metal, especially melodic death metal but I think I've found the genre I want to seriously get into playing on guitar and drums. I love post-rock so much. It makes me feel alive, and lets me feel more emotion than most other songs. No lyrics, just pure human talent and emotion created by a bunch of wood, metal, polymer and fibers. I love it.
Mogwai and Hammock have been some of my favorite post-rock bands over the years. I pretty much love all of them though. Oh and also This Will Destroy You!

Wake reminds me of some songs from this band (you may have heard of them) The American Dollar... Hammock and The American Dollar go nice together.
