Yea I feel ya, it'd be a whole lot better if you could dodge mid-attack animation, which a lot of people have been asking for, but I guess that's not what they're going for in Dauntless.
You can still have challenging combat with a dodge like that. Dark Souls/Bloodborne has it. Even Monster Hunter, which Dauntless loves to mimic, has it, and it's still challenging.

Since the last Update my Iceborn often doesn't work, when I go on Lady Fortunas "Hunt". When I use the cyclone attack it doesn't work at all - but in the other hunts like esca etc it do?! A friend of mine has the same problem :// But the new sword features/Moves are nice ^^
Dumb question for a newbie: Why do you take overpowered, if you cant stagger with a sword? Maybe I just didnt get the stagger mechanic right. can anyone explain pls?

What's the point of sometimes unstaggerable if you have a move that makes you unstaggerable until the behemoth is turned in juice from a blender

What about the Hunger? It’s a pretty good for a tank build imo and does pretty good damage too. I’ve never gotten knocked using the hunger.
