I fucking LOVE it when some of my BELOVED "80s bands" ( that I've had a "40 year history" with such as Modern English right here ) decide to REVIVE their "early 80s" PHENOMENAL sound ( in these current fucked up times of the "2020s" ) to "fool" my brain into thinking is "1982/83" all over AGAIN!!!....
The ( founding members ) of Modern English would be considered late-born "Baby Boomers". They were in "their 20s" when they came out 40 years ago, while I was just "13/14" at the time.

I had to delete a previous comment. I was hoping for something that sounded like it was snatched from After the Snow or Ricochet Days. This is not that. It's rawer, less refined, not my favourite Modern English sound (That's Ricochet Days and After the Snow) but it's still great music. It sounds like one of those early bands from Post Punk's new emergence from the late 70s, still experimenting, still seeking to find themselves with unbridled teen angst and energy. So, I love it for what it is. It doesn't send me to 7th Heaven (That's Ricochet Days and After the Snow) but I still love it for what it is.
