    The NFL is entertainment. Period. Their personalities impact social media, gambling, viewership, etc. I doubt the League places "revenge" over money. Aaron Rodgers has owned sports talk and social media. He is a lightning rod for controversy, which equates to money. Everyone is feeding at the trough: owners, to coaches, to players, to sports podcasts, to businesses around the stadium. Everyone is simply following the rules of capitalism over the "good of the game."

    We kinda already knew this. Unless you're part of the local market for a small market team, your chances of seeing your team regularly are slim. Why? Ratings and bottom line.
    They seem to have did the Bengals a solid with the breakup of division games over the season. They really seem to be punishing the Steelers having all their division games condensed at the end.

      Yeah the seahawks had half of their division games in a 4 game stretch with the 49ers twice in 3 weeks last year...kind of wrecked the whole season because they only won 1 game in a month and a half. As a fan, I really hate when the scheduling does that, it's not exciting, it's something closer to fixing.

    This is why players and teams shouldn't say squat about the schedule. Complaining gets you nowhere. Have the team owners come together and demand rules regarding the schedule. Have them develop a rule that prevents the "3 games in 10 days" scenario. Otherwise, if I were on the team, I would go around and say "we are ready to play any team any day of any week."

    Every team florio mentions in his rant about feeling sorry for teams having to play 3 games in 10 days are the very teams the media, including Florio, have been over hyping all off-season. I say screw them. If the teams are so good, they should be able to handle it. Andy Reid is calling teams out because he is arrogant like his qb Mahomes. Rodgers hasnt been good for a few years. Somehow, he is still hyped through the roof. Now, when the league puts him to the test snd the media wants me to feel sorry for him getting a tough schedule. WTF!

  • @Socom2SoLid
    @Socom2SoLid 25 дней назад

    The NFL has given the Cowboys a hard schedule every year since I started noticing this about 16 years ago. Yet, look how easy some of the better teams’ schedule will be. The NFL will push anything they can, to make it harder on a team they don’t like. The NFL dosent like Aaron Rodgers. Jerry Jones, or any team or person who stands up to them. They suspended Zeke Elliott for 6 games when he didn’t have any evidence against him, and never faced prosecution… they NFL can do whatever they want, they even threatened to kick Jerry Jones out of the league…. Now that your team is getting the same treatment, you have a problem with it and all the sudden “look what the NFL can do!” Yeah… welcome to the NFL.
