    I use a liquid dropper bottle, generally found for glue application and refilling vapes. The needle tips fit in cartridges and converters and have a cap to seal them. They beat out needles because i don't need to rinse them out after every use and can hold a good amount of ink. Also when at work it doesn't get the looks that pulling a needle out does. Though I do recommend a solid case to carrying it in if you take it with you.

    Usually I use something similar to a zippered leather pen pouch from Galen Leather. I have a few, they are rigid too so they protect what is inside. Such a shame about Nock Co., I did get a couple of these before they sold out to Rickshaw. The Brasstown in an excellent pen case. The products from Lochby are awesome also. I think I have three Quattro’s in different bags or near my desk. Love the brown waxed canvas. Evergoods is a fairly new company but man do they have some excellent products, I have several of their bags. I don’t use the 2 liter Civic Access Pouch for stationary, mostly use it like you do for cables, mouse, etc. for when I travel to and from the office. I do use the 1 liter Civic Access Pouch for pens and pencils, I love the magnetic closure.

      So I did misspeak in the video, that is actually the Brasstown. I fixed the notes and slides, but I do say Sinclair once that I didn't catch in time. Aside from the name, it is still a great case that will last for a long time.

    That Velcro pocket on the Lochby looks like it would hold a small box of ink cartidges. Considering I just got one for Christmas, I should try it. :)

      @dwrdnet I tried it out. I have 5-packs of Lamy T10 cartridges and 6-packs of Kaweco international short cartridges. I can comfortably fit one box of Lamy cartidges in that pocket without making the pouch hard to close. The Kaweco boxes are smaller and I can fit two in there and still be able to close it up without problem. Tests were conducted with 4 pens in the pouch (Lamy Studio, Lamy Safari, TWSBI Eco, and a Jinhao). The pocket is fairly long and does curve around the spine. You could fit some papers, a few dollars, receipts, or tickets in there too. But a pack of cartridges seems a good use.

    • @dwrdnet
      @dwrdnet  17 дней назад

      Thanks for following up. I bet kaweco users would really benefit from that.

    • @wclark3196
      @wclark3196 17 дней назад

      @dwrdnet The Kaweco cartridges are the international short format and fit any other brand that takes that format. My Faber Castells and a $10 Amazon Basics pen I have both use the same format.

    I’m looking for a pen case that I can use to both travel with 4 to 6 pens, but I can also convert it into a standing holder when I’m sitting and writing at my desk. Something that can change from carrying case into like an easel… anyone know of an accessory like that?

      I have something similar to the Magnum Opus from Galen Leather but it was one I picked up off of Etsy if I remember correctly. I really like it and it is rigid so it will protect your pens. Another one you might want to look at id the 2Go cup from Esterbrook. They currently have three designs, I had gotten one during fountain pen day so it’s a special limited edition. It is really nice and will stand up on your desk so you can see all your pens. It has a divider inside too to keep your pens from banging into each other. I can fit an Esterbrook Essie or Camden easily, which are fairly long pens. My only gripe, and it’s a small one is the there is no positive lock when you cinch up the bag, it’s just help by friction. With that said, I have never had pens fall out when I used this in my bag going to and from work and many times I laid it on its side. Here is a link if you are interested… www.esterbrookpens.com/collections/accessories.

      @@BethDeWeeseAuthor Of course, happy to help. The one I got is of course inferior to the Galen leather one but sometimes spending over $100 for a pen case is not feasible. I feel like the one I got suits my needs at a fraction of the cost. I can dig up a link to the one I bought if that helps you. I even got my initials engraved on mine which is pretty nice.

    If you are going to get a pen case make it a leather one from a quality maker.

      I plan to eventually get a 6 pen Galen Leather case for when I have my pens in my messenger bag with me. I like the cloth cases for my more daily use pens for the time being. I have a 40 pen zippered case, but it is not practical for daily use.
