In reality Hector is a beast, no other car is near to it.
Very very honest review Anubhav bhai. Main khud bahot badha fan tha Tata ka. Wahi junoon tha Desh ka Loha, Desh ka Loha. Harrie li thi 5 Saal pehle, no doubt bahot achchhi gaadi hai lekin bas ek baar hector Chalayi abhi 2 haftey pehle aur mujhe hector bilkul bhi pasand nahin thi kyunki yeh youtube waalon ne Chinese-Chinese karke myth Banakar rakh diya hai. Abhi ek haftey pehle Hector Plus lelo automatic. Aur main bahot zyada khush hun usko lekar...ek dum practical car hai. Main waise bahot rarely comment karta hun lekin aapka aur aapke bhai ka review dekha toh rok nahin paaya. Aap dono ne jis pyare tareeke se samjhaya bas majaa aagaya. Khoob tarakki kariye. Bhai sahab humare ghr pe bhi Hector hai...Nex gen!! Bhot sahi gaadi hai and avg toh decent deti hai like city me upto 12 and highway me 17 tak cruise me...Jo bhi bhot sahi hai...Build quality karan bhi mileage pe affect padhta hai because strong build quality car hai ye.

got 9-10 in city and 12-14 on highways with AC.
you just need to drive it properly and use cruise control.
other cars of same size give a little better like XUV700 petrol automatic gives around 14-15 on highways and 11-12 in city.
so only a difference of 1-2 kmpl but as of now hector top variant with AT and all features costs 26.5L and 700 costs 30L and yet Hector has more features like Ventilated Seats and stuff.
don't expect too much mileage from such big and heavy cars.
edit: I have 2nd gen hector, so if you had 1st gen, then I don't know much about it sorry. But this is my experience with the 2nd gen.

So you mean to say all those cars on manual indicator mode till this time were not good?? Hahaha.. come on. In fact auto indicator will eventually going to harass the driver itself as well as other cars on the roads

@waheguru9563 Highway 15 if cruise at 80. Trust me ive achieved higher. In delhi
City you can get 8 and if less traffic 10 with ac. But no hard accelerate and leave gas paddle in advance before reaching red light , if you ride it like maruiti car then 7 milage

Doubtful kuch nhi hai MG ke sare products ache hai or inki service bhi shaandar hai lambi race ka ghoda hai MG.

Jindal group almost finalized the deal with MG..so in coming months MG is becoming INDIAN company.
MG India in now owned by india which means more reliable and better after sales service. There is a goof future of MG in India

Some are saying MG Petrol giving Mileage of 7-9 per liter. Some are saying its giving 13-14 per liter. Confusing.
7 - 8 in city and 11 - 13 on highway
6-8 in city petrol
Both are true.
Have been driving my cvt for 2k km now.
Max highway : 14kmpl; City 10kmpl
Realistic : 12kmpl highway ,8 City
both are true, I get 9-10 city and 12-14 on highways.
also depends how you drive it.
CVT is automatic and you need to drive properly (normally).
if you are used to rash driving, suddenly overtaking cars, etc like people do then the mileage will drop.
edit: this might vary dealership to dealership but MG really treats you premium as well. For servicing they treat you really well unlike Tata. Mahindra is also good for after sales service, but MG is even better, never buy Tata.
also my friend had a little rattling noise from dashboard (after 8 months) they replaced the whole dashboard for free (which they should obviously), but I bet you if such an issue occurred in Tata vehicles, forget getting it replaced, even to fix the issue you will have to fight with the service centre people, and then they will give excuses like parts availability and stuff.
So if you don't want MG, go for Kia or if you want Indian, then go for Mahindra, don't go for TATA. Their cars are good, but the after sales service is very poor and pathetic.

Even company claims 12kmpl while you are saying 13-14kmpl!
I am getting 14kmpl highway. 8-10 in city . New car. Hopefully it will improve a bit more.

Bhai MG k 2 features toh ekdum waste hai -- auto indicator feature; aadmi ko baawla kar dega yeh feature! Zara si right m steering karo aur le,right indicator chalu. Piche gadi wala sochega ki yeh krna kya chah kya raha h.
2. Car k paas aate e car ka auto unlock feature-- bhai car chori karwa dega kabhi yeh feature. Socho mere jeb me key hai par mujhe kahi jana nahi hai. Balki kisi aur kaam se bas car k paas se guzar gaya ya kisi se baat krne theher gaya toh yeh toh unlock kar dega khud ko.
Automated systems are useful but to some extent. Kuch chize manual e acchi aur sada bahar lagti hai
