How nice finding the sound equipment worth good money, Renee! I have tons of books as well and am getting rid of the how-to/DIY/cookbooks 1st. A few months ago I got the idea of contacting Tapas bars/restaurants in my area asking if they knew any patrons that were looking for Tapas (and Spanish) cookbooks. After contacting the one place closest to me, the owner decided to buy 3 books! I was so happy!
I’ve enjoyed the totes and being surprised when one is open. I’d watch more even if you had 6 totes of just books. 😀 congrats that one collection looked great. ~ Texas
I love these videos, just the excitement of what's going to be in there. Remember these are people's belongings that in all reality they probably planned on getting this stuff back. So you can never tell what's going to be in them. Great video Renee love you and happy scanning😀
More than fourty totes for a whopping hundred bucks ?! Even the empty totes are worth more than that, so welcome to your growing wealth ! 👍 Harbinger channel mixers are perfect solutions for singer- songwriters, small groups and home recording setup and are always selling for a decent amount of $$$, depending on the item. Sir Colin Davis had some Munich relationship because he conducted the Bavarian Symphony Orchestra in the 1980s, highly recommendable. Jacques Brel was a very famous Belgian chansonnier ("Ne me quitte pas / Don´t leave me" etc.). Seems that the previous owner got a very good music taste and was perhaps a musician as well. Even the book section starts very promising, can´t wait to see more of it ! So, congrats on your amazing finds, prosperity and your trip to Munich is right around the corner ! 😉Greets from GER, U.
Now to find the tote that has the musical instruments! Can you imagine? If there's a trumpet, I'm afraid that my 5th grade trumpet lessons are long forgotten, so I won't be able to play it. I was the only girl in the "trumpet section" and during lessons I would always get in trouble because the boys would make me laugh. For Christmas a few years later, I asked for an electric guitar so that I could be like my favorite rock stars. Thankfully it was a cheap model from a JCPenney Catalog, as my guitar playing skills weren't the best. Needless to say, a career in music was not meant for me! :0)
@@PaperandMooseNice coincidence, because I always wanted to learn trumpet or piano. And what did my dad get for me ? An accordion ! No way, I refused to learn this instrument and just took C- Flute lessons at school. I was quite good on this instrument and just can play it today, e.g. during Christmas celebrations ("Stille Nacht / Silent Night").
As promised...I'm back. I had a very nice time meeting my family member and his lady friend...guess what...they both love thrifting and vintage items...they just loved my stuff...and Erik also loves and collects fr-g figurines...so...I'm not a "nut" after all as to my interests! Vintage toy piano??? A real treasure of music! Nice throw rugs. "Wee Little Man"...sounds like my story! A tote loaded with fr-gs...I'd purchase that one!! I have quite a library of century old books...technical, medical, home making, and musical subjects.
Sir Colin Davies - Great Conductor I think. What a beautiful classical box collection - overseen by the great man I presume, then rounded off by some high-quality sound stuff and music books. Absorb, consider, digest. Gloves on time, smelly socks are next. Sublime to ridiculous. Then guess what? More books. Nothing to sniff at though Renee ( sock joke ). All looked good to me….😊
Congratulations Renee! 73.6k subscribers; I remember you were closing in on 50k a year or so ago. Nice purchase; tote boxes are worth the cost of the pallets. Take care. BH sends best.
Renee, Phantom of the Opera is my absolute, all time favorite! My daughter took me to see the play for my birthday a few years ago. We had a wonderful time together. That was the BEST birthday ever for me!!!! I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. Much love, Tammy from KY.
I saw the Phantom of the Opera a few times in high school & then a few times after. I so wanted to see it again on Broadway before it closed but didn't get the chance.
👏Thank you for part 2 of this storage unit of books 📚and ???? I love to see what people store away, kitchen utensils and socks. 🧦🍽🥤What??? You are always such a joy to watch and listen to😘👍💓
Hi Renee. This was fun. Just going through the totes is amazing. I love that you found some music 🎵 and cosmetics 💄 as well. It wasn't just books. Well, I have a surprise for you. I just got my comics in the mail, and I am enjoying them right now. It is good to have something to read when you can't sleep at night 🌃. God Bless you sweet Renee. Hope to see more of those totes. Taco Stack's is amazing, and letting you have your stuff in his unit. HUGS 🤗. Mari'a. 🤗🤗🌃🌃💄💄❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
It's extremely generous of Taco Stacks to let me store my totes with him, taking up space, which he needs! I'm trying to go through them as quickly as I can so that I can clear the space. It's easier to sort there, as whatever I take to the flea market stays with Taco Stacks anyway for when we sell together at the market. Hope that you enjoy reading those comics!
As a musician, I’d say get that musicians equipment up for sale asap. Although a little older, musicians and studios still want those items. Try to find the correct cords and wires for them. Good luck!
I am completely fascinated by this collection of books and records. I imagine what kind of person would have stored this. My guess is a young man, trained in dance and music, hoping to get in the theater world on Broadway. Whatever happened to him and his dreams?
I have to arise early tomorrow...like someone I see doing...no flea market, a visit from o family member. Will visit your adventure tomorrow!! Looks interesting already...that mixer! See ya'!

Hi, I agree with not showing ALL the books, but a highlights would be interesting. For electronics testing, a universal power supply is a great thing to have & quite inexpensive.
AWESOME FIND. I CAN THINK OF NO ONE ELSE WHO HAS THE KNOWLEEGE YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE WORTH OF WHAT YOU FOUND. SO HAPPY FOR YOUR FINDS. GREAT VIDEO.
I don’t know if this happens in the US, but over here in the UK a lot of disused telephone boxes (the iconic red ones) have been converted into miniature free book exchange libraries (after the telephone apparatus has been removed, obviously). So usually people will take a book or books for free as long as they drop off a book or books in exchange. Of course honesty and respect for the system is paramount, but it has been going on for a while now due to the decline of public telephone usage and British Telecom threatening to remove the boxes unless a use can be found for them. Just wondered if old phone kiosks in the US were repurposed in a similar way?
All of our telephone booths are long gone 😞 They removed one of the last ones in this area, that I can recall, last summer. Many had been removed long before then. What a great idea though on how to repurpose those structures! Many people have built little boxes that look like the front of a house, usually with 2 or 3 shelves, and a door with a glass window, using that for a little community library.
I guess you can't judge book totes by their covers. And a little stool for making a little stool (sorry 😒). You're definitely in the money on this buy now. I had never seen one of those cassette > USB devices. Can you record the cassette to USB-enabled devices or just play it? Thanks for taking us along & enjoying the surprise of seeing what you've bought. Hope you have a great Wednesday and find the power cord to that mixing board!
For the Cassette converter, it appears that I just plug it into my computer and then the cassette can be converted into a digital file. (Which then to burn onto a CD, I'd have to dig out my old CD burner which most likely isn't compatible with my current laptop... or perhaps put the files on some other type of device... Technology!) I just thought about the randomness of the sock & kitchen utensil tote. Books, books, books... socks, tongs, and a little stool. I've sorted a few more totes since recording this video and they were all books. Can't wait to see what else I will find! Hopefully that power cord!
Looks like the "Paper and Moose" soundman will enjoy his new mixer and headphones, and your makeup artist will be happy to use the makeup to make you look good in front of the camera, and even your personal cook will enjoy the cooking utensils, but your poor cameraman gets nothing! haha 😔 One another note, Miss Moose will finally get to know all about Beethoven, Chopin and Tchaikovsky's girlfriends...good reading!😂😂
There are some interesting books, for sure! If I find any about radios or if there should happen to be a vintage radio in one of the totes, you can expect to find them in your mail!
Media mail is usually cheaper, though there has been some discussion lately about the post office raising the price of media mail, along with other rates as well. With Ground Advantage, depending on where a book is being shipped to and the weight of the book, sometimes that is the better option for faster delivery as well as more cost effective.
Thoae scores you were looking at can be pricey- purchased new. from 30 - 50 or more when new. You need to use your google lens- to take pics- and instantly get a ballpark price. That would be a vocal musician's group of things

I enjoy seeing the books scanned. It’s just another part of reselling and not for everyone. But as a book lover they all have some level of interest.
