Seeing this video has given me another perspective about the trauma that men can go through too. I’ve been through some terrible situations with narcissistic guys from my past so I *definitely* empathize with the hurt and anger you feel. You’re right about having to feel through the emotions to heal. It’s the only way to properly do so. It’s not easy going through the emotional turmoil and aftermath of a terrible relationship. It takes time but it gets better. I’ve been single for 3 yrs and feel like I’m finally getting back to who I was. Just know that there’s no shame in therapy if you ever need it. I never had anyone to talk to or enough money for therapy at the time (previous broke college student lol) but I wished I did. We need to normalize therapy and mental health for black people (men especially).

I have NEVER watched this family. Her video came up in my recommendations, and after watching it out of curiosity, I decided to find his video. From the very little I have seen, it is a good thing that they are no longer together. Hopefully this young man will continue on his quest to make a better life for himself and his daughter, he comes across as a genuine person trying to figure things out in the best way he can at this time in his life. As a person who dealt with a Narcissist person I completely understand how he feels. I get it when you deal with a Narcissist you tend to begin to adapt their behaviors and question who you are. I know I'm late to the situation, but I left my ex for the same reason. He is a complete narcissist and even though it hurt I know I made the best decision because I know my worth. I was in a 17 year relationship(with a narcissist) on and off with the father of my 2 children. We been off for the last 3 years i started praying and working on me and when i tell you that was the best thing i could have ever done. This says to me you never truly wanted to end things. Why did you initiate the breakup in September? I don't know know...but I believe you really didn't intend for it to be permanent. The fact that you have purposefully taken pictures of the house when she had it in mess and is now using it has evidence is proof of how petty this has gotten. I hope someone will start off by deciding to be the bigger person and act in ways that will only be healthy for your daughter. Remember, she is only 4. I been watching your videos and I love that u are glowing and growing because it's the mature way to be and go. Some people don't get that healing takes time and it takes effort. I've been through a massive amount of trauma and pain throughout relationships. For example my last relationship was a marriage that lasted a decade. My ex spouse was a liar and a manipulator as well and once I started counseling I realized I was being mentally abused and when I say it was the worstest relationship ever, I mean just that. I'm still in counseling and it's been 13 years that I've been in counseling and ima be honest it didn't start to work until like 5 years in and I was finally able to get the courage to leave what was bringing me down the most. It's been almost 7 years that I've been divorced and I still don't think I'm 100 percent healed for another relationship and I'm fine with that because being whole and healed is key. So continue to work on u and continue to live in your truth because it is apart of healing! Trust me, the healed u is going to hold so much weight in the long run.

Wow! Jarrell has cleared up a lot for me. I knew there was something more to that 2-month leave Jarrell did but they hid it so well. Also, the time he slept in Niya’s room for a period. For me, the relationship has been off since then. The way that Jah allegedly seeks the attention from men says a lot about her upbringing…some type of sexual trauma or a sense of abandonment from her dad. The same for Jarrell, though…something traumatic happened as a result of his upbringing as a child. This is probably what attracted them to each other, a traumatic event or events or just a similar broken childhood. And they never resolved those problems individually, and as a result, those problems came out in their relationship in unfortunate ways. Nevertheless, I wish them both well spiritually and emotionally.🙏🏽💖

Seeing this video has given me another perspective about the trauma that men can go through too. I’ve been through some terrible situations with narcissistic guys from my past so I *definitely* empathize with the hurt and anger you feel.
You’re right about having to feel through the emotions to heal. It’s the only way to properly do so. It’s not easy going through the emotional turmoil and aftermath of a terrible relationship. It takes time but it gets better. I’ve been single for 3 yrs and feel like I’m finally getting back to who I was.
Just know that there’s no shame in therapy if you ever need it. I never had anyone to talk to or enough money for therapy at the time (previous broke college student lol) but I wished I did. We need to normalize therapy and mental health for black people (men especially).

I know I'm late to the situation, but I left my ex for the same reason. He is a complete narcissist and even though it hurt I know I made the best decision because I know my worth. Sounds like you figured out your worth also. She will learn that being loose will not gain happiness. Giving yourself to multiple men is only taking a piece of yourself away each time. Only to fill empty in the end. God shows us things all the time, but it is up to us to listen and not make excuses for them. I am guilty of that myself. I was in a 17 year relationship(with a narcissist) on and off with the father of my 2 children. We been off for the last 3 years i started praying and working on me and when i tell you that was the best thing i could have ever done. It was hard at first because i was mad at myself for staying so long and not seeing the signs early on but experience is the best teacher. You will get through this and will find love again.

I believed you both genuinely loved one another. I believe you still really do love her. Just by how hurt you're about her and other guys, though you are broken up. I also noticed whenever she says anything about it just wasn't working so you needed to end, instead of agreeing, you keep saying she was the one the didn't want it to work. This says to me you never truly wanted to end things.
Why did you initiate the breakup in September? I don't know know...but I believe you really didn't intend for it to be permanent.
Instead of you guys working out whatever it was, she came 3 days later and ended it for real and I think it all went downhill from there.
Right then and there you should've given each other some space. Definitely not stayed under the same roof. There was just too much emotions, too much history for you guys to coexist in a healthy way under the same roof, so shortly after it ended.
Who knows? Maybe with time and space you would have found your way back to each other.

From what I have seen you both have manipulative tendencies and both knew just how to get under one another's skin and you both did just that for the past few months, which resulted in a big explosion that now have you both set out to get one another.

I been watching your videos and I love that u are glowing and growing because it's the mature way to be and go. Some people don't get that healing takes time and it takes effort. I've been through a massive amount of trauma and pain throughout relationships. For example my last relationship was a marriage that lasted a decade. My ex spouse was a liar and a manipulator as well and once I started counseling I realized I was being mentally abused and when I say it was the worstest relationship ever, I mean just that. I'm still in counseling and it's been 13 years that I've been in counseling and ima be honest it didn't start to work until like 5 years in and I was finally able to get the courage to leave what was bringing me down the most. It's been almost 7 years that I've been divorced and I still don't think I'm 100 percent healed for another relationship and I'm fine with that because being whole and healed is key. So continue to work on u and continue to live in your truth because it is apart of healing! Trust me, the healed u is going to hold so much weight in the long run.

Wow! Jarrell has cleared up a lot for me. I knew there was something more to that 2-month leave Jarrell did but they hid it so well. Also, the time he slept in Niya’s room for a period. For me, the relationship has been off since then.
The way that Jah allegedly seeks the attention from men says a lot about her upbringing…some type of sexual trauma or a sense of abandonment from her dad. The same for Jarrell, though…something traumatic happened as a result of his upbringing as a child. This is probably what attracted them to each other, a traumatic event or events or just a similar broken childhood. And they never resolved those problems individually, and as a result, those problems came out in their relationship in unfortunate ways.
Nevertheless, I wish them both well spiritually and emotionally.🙏🏽💖
