Great Video. Those water crossings were excellent in preparation to start off roading. I cannot imagine going down in the last crossing you guys did, and trying to lift the bike wet with water working against you. Makes One rethink, to what extremes an individual can take their hobby. Great work!
That water crossing was more difficult because we had lighter bikes. The guys in the GS1200s that were behind us just rode it through the river. Weight was their advantage
In January I went with my Himalayan to a desert and I assumed the road would be easy, dry gravel and packed sand. But it had rained for a week and while it didn't rain that day, I had to do some 6 or seven corssings, which was something I had no experience with. The hardest one was probably just like the second easiest in this video, but alone and inexperienced it wasn't easy. Lots of cussing and whimpering but I managed to pull trough
Great ride and great video, Michael. Let's find a dryer ride next time! I'm riding up to Colorado Springs this week but we'll connect when we are both back in town! John and Ken were great on this ride too - John needs to lay wrenches on his bike!
Yikes! On that last one! I just bought a Scram 411, so far I’m impressed!
Spring water flows make rinding interesting

@@motometaphor wild...didn't consider that one.
My consideration was first or second gear. Excellent content again Brother!
Great show, Adventure at its best. Well done guys.
Thanks - It was fun. Boots took a week to dry out

That sounds like a slog. I still cuss regularly
That looked fun, a bit more experience and you’ll be confident to cross the water without all the fuss 😊
Agreed. When we saw the guy go across easily on his GS we reconsidered
Let go for a little ride on Saturday morning , it will be easy nothing complicated they said 😂😂
Yup
Nice,
Love from 🇮🇳India
Thank you. Much appreciated

P.S. - I will get some better tires!!! These street tires are sketchy AF off road!
It was a great ride. Lots of ups and downs. I had to split the footage into 2 videos are there were really 2 storylines from the ride
Good video. Water is no joke. Good to have buds.
I doubt I would have tried to cross this if i was by myself
Enjoyed this, great filming and location 👍
Thank You. It is definitely a very unique landscape in the desert and hills
Vraiment impressionnant ! Top vidéo 👍
Merci. Beaucoup de plaisir avec cette moto mais ca pris 3 jour pour mes bottes a secher
@@motometaphor 😅

Wild water and apparently a wild doggie!
