I remember party lines growing up. We had a beige wall phone, the only one in the house. The phone numbers started with letters and we had time limits on our calls. The phone in my 1st apartment was harvest gold. Sissy was so cute wondering why you couldn't see who was calling on the vintage phone🙂

That old wall phone . We had one. The whole family lived within a 5 / 10 mile radius. When you cranked it one ring crank was grandma two ring crank was mom. And so on. It's hard to explain. But the water bucket sat on a small table under the phone. If you crank the phone and touch the metal water bucket , it was a good shock. My brother's would try to shock me.
All the food looks good. Bless that woman's heart that made all of it. Well i turned 60 in January so I am officially old. 🤣 Audra's hair looks pretty. The wash board brings back memories. My Momma had one and Grandpa made a magazine rack with it for her. The wash board was the middle divider. When Sissy says you can't see who's calling. 😂 Rotary phones came out in 1892 and push buttons came out in 1963. Momma and Daddy had rotary for the longest and when they bought a push button we thought we were fancy. Makes me remember when we were in a thrift shop when my kids were little and they said Mommy look there's a grey tv (black and white) like you had in the olden days.😆My Mom thought that was the funniest thing especially them saying the olden days to me.
It turned cold up here 2 nights ago. It frosted last night. I'm sooooo glad I didn't plant my plants yet! It's supposed to be a low of 28 tomorrow, I think. Yyes this weather hhss been so tricky.when we were in Williamsburg va over the weekend & came bck yesterday it was in the 60s & then it rained . On our way bck it started warming up alittle. I heard it takes a year or two for bats 🦇 to take up residence in the bat houses you put out.But they’re so fascinating.They eat up to 1,000 insects an hour or about 6,000 per night.They’re not very pretty to look at but boy they can eat the flying insects 🐞 Falon I saw you grabbed a Figi water.I love the taste of that water.
