  • The 2017 edition of the Red Bull Car Park Drift Mauritius will be held on August 26th at Champ-de-Mars. The first passages are scheduled around 3:30 pm and the awards ceremony at 5:30 pm.
This 4th edition of the Mauritian international championship event promises a great fight between the best local drifters of recent years and newcomers. The three-time defending champion, Emmanuel d'Hotman, will have much to do against a competition that should be better prepared this year in terms of steering and mechanical preparation.
The Mauritian 2017 champion will represent Mauritius at the international final in Kuwait at the end of this year, with Red Bull taking over and moving.
Between the stages of competition, Brian Capper will demonstrate motorcycle trials. The South African, a Red Bull athlete, is multiple champion of South Africa's Trial and Supermoto. He was the first motorcycle rider to climb a thousand steps from the impressive arch that passes over the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban.
This 4th edition of the Red Bull Car Park Drift (Mauritius) is organized by Red Bull, in accordance with the technical standards and safety standards of the international competition, with the support of Robert Chung (Mauritian motor racing consultant).
Mauritius is the first country in the Southern Africa / Indian Ocean region to be included in the Red Bull Car Park Drift Series, a competition launched eight years ago. Every year, dozens of pilots from the Middle East, North Africa and Central Europe are qualified to compete in the national finals of the Red Bull Car Park Drift Series.
