Exploring Irelands ABANDONED BARYTE MINE day 13

In episode 11 day 13 I continue on my bikepacking journey across Irelands wild Atlantic way I search for abandoned mines, I find them and enter.
At the start of the day I wake up in my tent on bundorans tullan strand. On this windy day I cycle out of Donegal, through Leitrim and into county Sligo. With plans to camp near mullaghmore first I want to detour from the western coastal route to visit the Gleniff horshoe. Here is located dermot and grainnes cave and the old abandoned baryte mines. These are located not too far from Sligos well known benbulben and devils chimney.
I took the wrong road to the mines and headed in the direction of sligos highest mountain. I had to reroute through bogland and I walked for hours before I arrived at the mines. Eventually I found and an opening and went inside. Enjoy the vlog.
