I love how women are now getting equal job opportunities to do cool work like driving big tractors & machines. Even if it is a bit scary seeing them at the wheel of a large piece of machinery😬😅
There was always equal opportunity for women to work any job they want. Most women today want to work in corporate and office jobs. Very few women want to work in Agri or the trades. If you look back in time, more women helped out on the family farm be it the granny, mother or daughters compared to today.
Most contractors in NZ want people with at least 2 years experience... my question is how do you get the 2 yrs experience when no one will give you a chance? 😂
I've been asking that question for year's, when I was young. Back then I was told the same thing. I could never get any of them to say yes to me. It worked for others's I'm sure alright, not for me. 😢 Great video, good to see women involved in Ag. 👍👍
Do what i done. Got a job on a pig farm (always short staffed) just to get some 'farming' experience, stock work, basic tractor work. Then look around amd say you want to progress your knowledge further. Keen-ness and the appropriate work ethic. It is certainly not impossible 😅

You can get a job with no experience
There are a lot of contractors there who will take people with no experience - depends a lot on when and how you apply for a job with them 😊
