I think you guys are doing everything right out here. You´re all 100% right in using it as color enhancement and not color cover up. I think it your cut was already on point and then the color did just what you said and really made it pop more. But even more than that I love how you guys as barbers interact with one another and do nothing but build each other up and challenge one another. Great job man. Got to admit, the crispness does make it look unnatural. Not a rag at the job done, just the product and the process itself. Even the ones on Instagram looks unnatural. I guess I'm just an ol' head stuck in the 90s where turntables, lyrical abulity and a dope fade done with skillz was still a thing.
I think that; by you doing this kinda of challenge shows how much you appreciate another professional barber (like you are) and his technic or way of doing business. It is a very humble action of yours to come up with something like this. Much respect!
What's growing this whole barber revolution is the fact that we are trying new ideas and pushing boundaries all the time. And because we are all different, we all like different things, which is fantastic for us, because it means our scope for creativity is endless. I personally don't care for enhancements and ash lines, I think it makes the cut look artificial and almost cartoonist. But i get it, and understand why it's done. But that's besides the point. The fact that you pushed yourself to try something new has inspired me to do likewise. Always a inspiration Chris👌
