[Physician Assistant 1] What made me come to work for Baptist, was knowing the organization is so helpful and so caring. Everybody's pretty much happy when they come to work. So. it just creates an environment where you want to stay, for the long run.
[Physician Assistant 2] We're friends outside of work, not only in work and we're truly a family here.
[Physician Assistant 3] The great thing about Baptist, you have great support teams, you have great physicians that are willing to teach you and help you get that experience you need.
[Physician Assistant 2] At Baptist Health we have opportunities to grow, personally and professionally and if we decide to leave patient care, there's ways to grow within the system.
[Physician Assistant 4] Sometimes other institutions focus on volume, here at Baptist we really, we are not concerned about that, we're concerned about providing the best care for patients and their families as we can.
[Physician Assistant 3] You have the ability to focus on your patient care and I've had the opportunity to work in outside facilities, you know, outside of Baptist, and you don't have that support system in other places.
[Physician Assistant 4] I get to see the patient from when they walk in as a new patient, to when they're discharged from the hospital. I'm a part of their care the entire time and it really connects me to their care and the patients feel that they're being cared for, not by a stranger, [Video of Physician Assistant with a patient] but by someone they've seen since they've entered this building.
[Physician Assistant 1] The doctors here are very caring. They're excellent in their technical skills, surgically and as well as clinically. They care for their patients very much, as well as family members and how the family members feel about the care that they've received. And so, I think that shows a lot of importance in patient care, overall.
[Physician Assistant 4] My physician really has a open door policy for us, we are all available to ask him questions. From the M.A. to myself to other providers, [Video of Physician Assistant with patient] we all work as a collaborative team, to provide the best care for all our patients.
[Physician Assistant 1] If you're looking to come work as a physician assistant to Baptist Health Systems, I would tell you to not have any reservations about coming to work here. [Video of Baptist facilities] It's a wonderful organization with great benefits and room to grow in other fields, so, they have many options to go by.
