Amazing! One thing I have noticed with Indonesian single players is their ferocious attack and speed of movement on court. Similarly Japanese players are very accurate and have amazing counter attacks. Great display of skills!
Momota has to keep smashing, play hard and fast, for a while he only played drop and clear, and everybody had figured out his game. He made so many points with his smash here, he has to keep playing this agressively and then his other shots become much more dangerous as well!
Momota cannot keep up the pace and offensive playing style throughout the tournament. His body simply does not allow it and that is the reason momota tended to be defensive and have a slower pace to manage his stamina.. but this is history as he decided to retire recently.. hope we can still see him play in the forthcmoing thomas cup..
LKY 's just do my best and enjoy the game mindset has helped him move ahead alot. but a ex world champion, must be better than this. he is still playing as if he is new to the circuit and and just being there and doing his best. the last LKY lost to chow tian chen...now to momota. what the 2 have is the desire to win. LKY will only will games on days where opponent is really off or have little desire to win. beoynd quarter finals. LKY is just his usual smiley be happy and play style...while his opponents fight for their lives. great respect for these players who fight thier hearts out even against supposedly better players and win.
