That scene of her stretching her long legs under her crimson red Chinese costume while modeling for William Holden at that breath taking corner overlooking the 60's Hong Kong harbor etched on millions upon million viewers' minds and was, is and will be movie legend!! Bravo, Nancy👏you're the most beautiful woman in movie history!!
Suzie Wong , I remember Suzie from back in the day. She's beautiful and one phenomenal actress . I'm glad that she,'s doing well. A Lady with amazing talent.
Nancy Kwan played a Hooker in her first movie, which she performed very well. Considering, she's never acted before, she was a natural talented actor. Her beauty and charm is unforgetable. She was also great in Flower Drum Song. She certainly has opened doors to many Asian actresses.
One of my all time favorite films (The World of Susy Wong) so much so that I bought it because it was so well acted by the whole cast and the crew and of course the director.
My first crush and love. Still is and beautiful as ever today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANCY KWAN (Aka “Suzi Wong”) on this 80th MILESTONE YEAR! Here’s. To the next best-yet-to-come 80-YEARS!
Suzie Wong movie is a stunner and it was because of her looks and talent. Even today she is very good looking with a serious intellectual side . Not Asian American but Asian British?. Her mother was from the uk , correct?.
I think Nancy Kwan was and is one of the world's most beautiful women !! What a stunning mix of ethnicities ! And this is what some would have us be afraid of. 😥
She isn't really Asian-American. Her mother was white fashion model from England. Maybe she is the first half-Asian to make a bundle in Hollywood. Anna May Wong was born in California, but both her parents were Chinese ancestry. She started acting in Hollywood movies in 1922!
People like to use the "one-drop rule" here. In the case of a half-Asian/half-White or half-Black/half-White, they only like to point out the minority race. It's much easier to do when they look at least some part of their minority race. For example, Barack Obama. He looks mostly Black to most people, so it is easy to pin him as "the first Black president of the U.S.". But of course we all know that he isn't 100% Black. He is 1/2 White. But no one really describes him as the "first biracial U.S. President" when that really is what he is. I'm sure that if he looked more White, it would be more difficult to ignore that he is half-White, but then again, people would STILL attempt to bring out the minority side because this is a progressive country who likes to look at milestones lol.
Uh, well, Lance Baker, she's Asian-American NOW. Her husband is American, which, as a matter of law, makes her American, and she lives - guess where? - in America. But maybe you're thinking she's not "genetically" American because her mother was English/Scottish? Not quite sure where you're coming from . . .
Um, not trying to pick a fight or anything, but just glancing at the Anna May Wong Wikipedia page, and it does seem to say both of her parents were of Chinese ancestry. So, like, do you know something that Wikipedia doesn't?
The World of Suzi Wong is one of the Best Romances. I was inspired to see more of her from her role in the pilot to the original Hawaii 5-0 series.
She was great in the Naval Comedy, "Nobody's Perfect" from 1968 with James Whitmore, David Hartman and Doug McClure.
Nancy Kwan is very beautiful at 75 in this interview.
Wow, she is amazingly beautiful in her 70s

"Nobody's Perfect" (1968) is one of the best Naval Comedies ever filmed.

Happy New Year, 2020, Nancy Kwan! One day at a time! Pray morning, noon, and night! God bless!
Hmmm i think she's much hotter and beautiful than Bardot IMO and she's not Chinese version of anyone. She is what she is!

LOL. She kept saying Anna May Wong was the first Asian-American actress and the journalist was too awks to follow through with that comment.
william holden was amazing in this movie
Brigitte Bardot was a genetic male, raised female.
Why do people have to get old? Can't they stay young forever?
France Nuyen
She i half asian - cuacasian.
Her father is Chinese and her mother is caucasian.
Bardot? Who's Bardot? Lol
Nope, doesn't look like an Asian to me.
