Yeah I feel like Painful Choice should've been paired with a search card like RotA over Foolish, because that could either lead to a surprise that you want stuff in the grave in Yugioh, or cause the guest to second guess why searching for a specific card wouldn't just automatically be better than having your opponent choose for you. Paired with Foolish makes it so obvious that the goal is to get stuff in the grave, so obviously you pick the one that sends 4 things to grave AND gives you a card instead of just one to grave. An evil one would be Maxx C vs Red Eyes Dark Dragoon...
i think instead of using cards that work in such similar ways, you should do curveballs of very strong cards together, like rhongo and zeus for example mightve been tougher than alembertian
Or throw a real curveball. Show him Rhongo and Shock Master and ask if 0, 1 or both are banned
@WillieRayPR ooooh yeah asking if both or neither are banned is good
I’m pretty sure glow-up bulb was banned around the time that plant/dragon rulers was a thing (right after they banned all the baby dragons) so way before halq was even a problem
2012 -2014 it was unlimited but rehabbed in 2020
Glow up bulb was at one most of the time. Pretty sure it was banned because halq and link kuriboh made it an easy link 4 or even a one card combo starter on its own. Together with one for one and other cards really easy and free extender it also made naturia beast possible in dinos and lightsworn.
In feel like Jet Synchron is a better comparison to Glow-Up Bulb. But Revolution Synchron works.
I will say, I do think Jet Synchron is objectively better than GUB.
Will you do this the other day around too?
Think he does it on the other person’s channel when they do the other way around.
Pikachus tier zero right
Farfa this is going to be a hard one
Later
Rhango
😂😂😂😊
This dude is genius
Why is farfa standing in every clip instead of sitting on a chair?
It would have made more sense to compare great magnus to rhongo
you should do one with Covert Go Blue as well just make sure you don't show same cards as cimooo lol
This guy is playing ygo 100%
Something like transaction rollback vs red reboot would be more challenging than trap stun. Seemed kinda obvious but hey what do I know, just a random commenter
I think the point was that they both shut down traps for a turn.
But Red Reboot gives the opponent a free card, but is a countertrap you can pay half your life points for to activate from hand.
There could even be an argument made that Trap Stun could have been better in quite some scenarios in the formats it was introduced in than red reboot.
Imperial order vs skill drain
basically mucho texto = banned
Tbh
Pokemon is leaning more and more to a yugioh style of game nowadays.
And i can tell that bc ive been play a whole lot of Pokemon TCG this season and probably will still be playing bc the ygo format sucks
TANTAN SHIRT
Well it's a one card halq what else.
Red reboot is banned in the tcg? I only really play MD because there are no local places i can play tcg or ocg and in MD red reboot is at 2 and no one plays it. Even when lab was popular no one played it. And this isnt the first or only card thats banned in the tcg and not banned in MD and that no one plays. Konami really needs to step up their game and make actually good ban lists where they learn from the 3 platforms instead of the horse crap we are getting fed now. Can you believe they just released an MD banlist where only 3 cards where featured and none where banned, they where just unlimiting and limiting 3 cards.
This is due to master duel being a best of 1 format. Red reboot is useless against non-trap decks so not worth running in master duel, but as a side-deck card in tcg it made trap decks essentially impossible to win tournaments with
@@nopeno-s5r i can understand that, but i dont think limiting it for the tcg would make much of a difference. It would be a practicaly unsearchable one off that you only put in your deck in the second game.
@@silentsword3029Going Second it was just a very sacky feeling blowout card that also shuts down entire decks if you go first and find it.
I think it being banned just to save people from the frustration it can produce is good enough.
Joel
painful choice. mill 4 selected cards out of your 35 cards deck surely not broken right?
4 foolish burial + upstart goblin vs foolish burial. hmmmmm
Hey. .. 😅this guy will became bro in ygo in a month if plays it
I'm impressed by the Pokemon guy, but even more so by bearded's guy's inability to explain stuff
yo, finda a magic player and a pokemon tcg player, and make a duel btw then, give then like 5k gems to pull and see how they would build their deck
❤❤❤
# unban red reboot for stupid lab (my nightmare deck in MASTER DUEL)
Like this post if you've picked up pokemon since the last crossover ep
