    Great video, Terry! I followed your steps and worked well. However, a few of my photos errored throwing ’Error Rendering…’ in the public web gallery. ‘tried to redo them a couple of times but to no avail. Any idea how this can be remediated?

    Man, I love your videos. I thought I knew how to use LR...been using it since it came out. Wow...was I wrong. I did everything you say not to do...for 16 years or so.
    The way I work...I have camera downloads...that I pull into LR. Then I export the ones I want to work on...then save in a folder in the client folder called "tif". Those are the files that I create jpegs for printing and jpegs for web posting. Why would I want to sync up my downloads folder from Classic to LR? They are untouched images. Do most photogs work only in LR to create retouched images for their clients?

    Great vid thanks for the info. Is there a way to change the pixel size of images that a customer can download. I'm getting the option of 2048 on long edge 72 ppi Cheers

    Love your stuff Terry, but still a bit confused on this one. I prefer Lightroom Classic but it seems I cant use Classic if I want to share pics and allow them to be downloaded? If so how do I have the required pics in both versions if that is what is needed? terry

      LrC allows you to make any collection public and gives you a URL. That's pretty much all that LrC is capable of. Those images are sync'd to Lr Cloud as smart previews. You can then login to lightroom.adobe.com on the web and set various settings for that shared album to include downloads.

    Hey! What about watermarking those images for selection? wht stops the customer from just taking the whole library?

    Thanks Terry. Question regarding sharing a collection. The "make public" is not showing for me. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

      You sure you’re in a collection and not a folder?

      @@TerryLeeWhite Valid question. Yes I have collection. I think my problem was with sync with lightroom which seems like a world unto itself 😲
      Thanks.

    Thanks, Terry. I took some photos of my brother-in-laws model train layout both in RAW with my Canon R6 and in JPEG with my Apple iPhone 11 Pro. I edited all photos in both LrC and PS. Then I exported all images out as JPEG images and put them on a travel drive and gave the drive to my brother-in-law. However, he is unable to open any of the files on his Dell computer. Do you know why that would be? Any thing I could do different to make them compatible with his computer?

    • @TerryLeeWhite
      @TerryLeeWhite  Год назад

      How did you name the files?

    • @jamesshrouds4130
      @jamesshrouds4130 Год назад

      @@TerryLeeWhite Images from my Canon R6 have files names such as JSHR1955CR3. Images from my iPhone 11 Pro have files names such as IMG_1644JPG. When I edit them in PS they come back to LrC as JSHR1955-PSedit.psd, and IMG_1644-PSedit.psd. When I export them as JPEG files they become JSHR1955-PSedit.jpg, and IMG_1644-PSedit.jpg.
      Do I need to rename them during export so they are compatible with other computers? If so, what do you recommend for renaming the files? Should I drop the “PSedit” from the file name? This is a convention I added based on one of Scott Kelby’s book.

    Hi, I this that when you export, if it is for web, or screen, résolution has no interest... you can set it at zéro if you want, it will be the one of you screen in final...
