Jeremy wins the intro item off! For the beautiful camera, relevance and my (cautious) excitement for the recent Dead Rising news 26:32 That Mr Bean line killed Jesse 😂
I love how Jeremy talks about his experience with Souls games. It's funny, poetic and insightful. Bumbling about these games and not being sure you're in the right place makes it feel like the whole world is against you and ready to pounce. Success in these conditions is so much more powerful and satisfying.
The Scottish accents in Still Wakes the Deep are not just good use of the voice actors, they're so much more real than anything else it's true representation. They feel like conversations that folk actually woould have, using the words in the right place, and with the right frequency. Caz constantly whispering "Jesus fucking Christ" constantly is so real.
@@jeremybjayne my last reply to a comment on youtube was probably 10 years ago. I will break my streak to tell you to play it, it elevated Outer Wilds to my favorite single player game of all time. I also rarely play DLCs, but I am SO glad I played this one.
the motion blur in Still Wakes the Deep is some of the worst I've seen in a while, and I'm someone who usually likes it so it was pretty bad in that regard
As far as disappointment in sequels goes, BioShock Infinite is one example for me. After the excellent 1+2, meaningless story, shallow gameplay, and almost non-existent world exploration came as a surprise.
Jeremy has been missing out so bad over the years. All FromSoft dlc is as good or better than the base game (at least DKS1 and on), and there are a ton of other fantastic pieces of dlc over the past couple decades. I get being skeptical of them which is why i usually don’t play dlc at launch, but there is still so much out there worthwhile.
“The Mr. Bean of From Soft games” is so funny.

Jeremy needs to play Shivering Isles if he likes Oblivion still
Do I smell a... Fat Session?
Thanks for answering my question!
Danny, use a Bewitching Branch on the summons the boss uses, it'll make 'em fight for you for a while!
Sekiro is absolutely one of my favourite games ever.
1:10:53 Wise words!
Scadu is pronounced "shadow", the word is derived of the old English word for shade/shadow
Jesse rocking the blazer and vest
I 100% agree with Jesse on Mafia 3. It was such a bummer. I loved the original Mafia 1 & 2. They turned it into a grindy checklist Ubisoft game.
BattleRoyaleGames = best pick because of the metric system- or else they'd be Battle Quarter Pounder Games.
😂😂
I too am the Mr Bean of Fromsoft games.

This is why Danny works around games and not food lmao

I need a Je & Je Street Fighter Fat Session.
Jeremy is on point with Diablo 3 being a dumpster fire.

Wait Jeremy didn't play Echoes of the Eye DLC? or are expansions a different classification?
I never played it! I still need to, though. It's on sale rn, I'm gonna grab it- thanks for the reminder.

No self respecting Irishman says there from the british isles Danny 😂
I was shocked when I heard that lol

Danny, can you FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE stop mumblin all the time? I cannot understand you half of the time. You are hosting A PODCAST.
