It has been 10 years since WFTV Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne signed off its analog Channel 9 signal to end 51 years of broadcasting in analog, as it is now all in digital these days on its ABC local affiliate serving Central Florida. And this sure brought back a memory of WFTV's cat for the final analog Channel 9 sign-off.

Anyways, WFTV Apparently aired a 60 minute special Midday newscast. The first half was the regular news, with DTV conversion coverage and information in the 12:30-1:00 PM slot. Along with ending the 12:00 Special Edition of the Eyewitness News Midday, Opsal is narrating the sign off announcement.

when DTV will have on 2015. All stations
like ABS CBN 2, TV5 and GMA 7 will be
turn Digital already. When the analog is sign off.
then all the uhf channels will be sign off
when analog shut down and turn to Digital TV
