I really want a front tire upgrade for my 310gs. I need something that tracks better in gravel. I was pointed towards the TKC 80. I was planning on going with the GPS on the rear when my current tire wears out. I too ride about 95% on road, but don't mind the tire wear if the grip is sufficient. I just want to feel safer in the loose stuff. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Yes we used a Rabaconda tire mounting stand and it was a breeze, well worth the investment. I think this would be a great choice for Baja.

I think the Dualventure is a good option for the front

I think the dv is better than the tkc80, and it’s also reversible for longer life.

TKC80 has been discontinued. No loss imo. My TKC80 had tread separation start in less than 1000 miles.
