Magnificent scenery Darren ..... even on a 19 inch screen , which I'm sure in no way does it justice. The real thing must be so much better. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you , the exact video series I was looking for, If you couldn't find a place in the refugio elisabetta, where you were planning to camp.

Hiya, yes I had sort of planned to head down the valley to one of the campsites just off the trail. However plenty of Wildcamping opportunities on the section before reaching Elisabetta & further on where I started to climb up again in the morning

    Thank you! Great video.
Would you have eaten at the Refugio & then camped further down? What are your suggestions?

Great tour! there in a week with no plans either. So helpful. Thx. Was wondering what your original plan was if you did go past refugio elizabetta, since there is no wild camp? Where you planning on going all the way to courmayeur?

I was going to pop down to Val Veny to a campsite. The actual route I took the following morning had loads of places where you could wildcamp out of sight, wish I'd done that had I known!!

@darrencurtisuk wow, that would have been a gnarly day if you cruised to the val veny campsites. 😀 Thanks for heads-up regarding the 🇮🇹 wild camping situation on your route. Great series, was exactly what we needed.

Hi Darren, great to watch this as I’ll be doing this in September. Can I ask which Rab hoody you’re wearing? Is it the Rab Sonic Hoody? Thanks

How do they know the times to display on sign boards because people move at different paces?
