Males are referred to as "chinner" because of their prominent white squared off chin. I don't keep female fish. The regulation here now is you can keep 3 fish at a minimum of 16" and only one fish of those three can be a "trophy fish" at 21" or over.

The shore line tells you a lot. If you look at the shore in this video, the beach area is littered with huge rocks. If you see this, it is very likely this terrain extends into the water. I just use my sink as well to feel around for rocks too.
