If you love your child, you will overcome your feelings of protecting them in order to do the hard thing, and discipline them. This is really what’s good for them in the long run.

One of the most disturbing videos I've seen on RUclips was of Pastor Wilson speaking at a university and being verbally attacked and abused by the students/attendees. Wilson and his church have had much controversy follow him throughout the years. I've been to his church and all I saw were Bible believers. I think Pastor Wilson is a very brave man who stands for timeless truth against the changing tides.

I think the small size of modern families is the basis for so much bad parenting. Nearly any if not all bad modern parenting techniques are impossible if you have more than 3 kids. And particularly if you have 5 or more. Not that you can't be a bad parent with more children. Simply that small families are predisposed to a unique series of horrible paternal habits that are mildly less damaging than a single parent house hold.
I think you've got a point regarding family sizes. My brothers are doing it, they let their kids run loco until they can't stand it, diligently try to reason with them like they're adults, and of course, pour money into super-lefty progressive schools. Part of the problem is also the law demands nonstop supervision. But even without that, it's sad to see parents relentlessly drive themselves to exhaustion, when the overparenting is probably harmful.
You are right. I only have 2 and they are 8 years apart. It is like having two only children. They are a lot more work than a big family. I come from a big family myself and have lots of nephews & nieces. When I'm watching or taking care of a big group of kids they are more complaint. But I will have less problems at the dinner table, less problems with chores, less problems during bedtime.

Your sense of right and wrong is a real perception of something that actually exists, out there, in reality. The question is, where did the reality of right & wrong come from? Did people make it up? Then it's not something real you are perceiving. Then right and wrong would be 'imaginary,' and we see that you want truth, not imaginary things.
