I prey that it grows into a lovely big plant and gives u lots of happiness. Personally i would not pay that much for a small plant but each to their own. You bought what you wished for and the look on your face says it all.Your love for plants shows so much.x
@@GoodGrowing hahaha, good question. I think it's because I just started and don't want to feel overwhelmed. That and my husband already says I have enough🤷🏻♀️ So if I trade cuttings and baby plants, he can't say anything🤣
@@GoodGrowing yesss I got it!!!!! I paid $45 for it!!! It has 6 leaves and a pretty good size plant! I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to find it at that price!!! I am obsessed! I can’t wait to sun stress it baby pink!! Ps. Water it more often then your other Hoyas I keep hearing they need more water then regular Hoyas
I have a few plants maybe about 30ish. I don't know how ppl have so many. Lol I wish I can. I keep up with them daily and it's a job lol I have s few wish list plant but I have to rake only what I can care for. No sense on getting soany more just to neglect them. I love ur plants. I enjoy ur videos. Can u talk about how to store soil ?
Yeah it's certainly a lot of work to care for all my plants! I'm lucky enough that it's my job otherwise I certainly would be neglecting some! I can defo talk about storing soil :) thanks for the suggestion!
@@GoodGrowing would highly appreciate it. My soil isn't on original bag it's in air tight buckets. But I see some monster in one. Is it normal. Do they need air holes. ?Will it get bugs? I can't fine anything online to help me lol so thank u n I would look forward to ur info video on this. Thanks stay safe
Wow those plants from Kojo stunning!!! So big! …..ok non plant question I’ve been waiting weeks to ask you! I was just wondering what your background is because your accent is so unique! At first some words sounded American to me and then I heard that clearly there’s some kind of British (?) accent mixed in…I’m American so what do I know! 😅 anyway love your videos! Sending plant love form Brooklyn 💚
Hehe don't worry my accent is alllllll over the place! So I'm half british half american, grew up in the states, but now live in London. So my accent kind of does whatever it wants whenever it wants haha. And it changes unconsciously depending on who I'm speaking to.
Now THAT was a fun unboxing video. I love all of them. Funny you should mention being overwhelmed by Thrips previously as that is exactly where I am at the moment and just to top it off I found 2 mealybugs on a Hoya whilst doing the Thrips treatment rounds (again). At this time of year it's generally Spidermite season so I'm being extra vigilant with my Calathea warscewickzii and now I'll be worrying about your huge Ornata, lol. Looking forward to seeing the updates on your new plant babies.
hehe thanks!! I defo had a high filming it! So so sorry to hear you're having thrips issues! They absolutely suck!! What sort of treatment are you using? I've found provanto worked realllllly well for me with thrips (and is also effective against mealies!) It is a chemical pesticide though, so fine if that's not your thing!
My treatment for Thrips has been a 2-pronged attack using Provanto on the leaves, stems and in all the nooks n crannnies and then sprinkling Diatomaceous Earth on top of the soil to catch the juveniles which I replace after every watering. I had them all beat and then recently missed a plant or 2 in the last round of treatment and you know how quick these things multiply. But now I have found something that works for ALL pests even though it's designed solely for Spidermites. It's called SMC Spidermite Control Leaf Wash. It leaves a film on the plant and since using it I've noticed Spidermites have gone and the best bit is seeing dead Thrips and Fungus Gnats stuck onto the leaves and stems like a honey trap, it's fantastic and it saves money. Only don't use the instructions on the bottle as it will cause some leaf loss, I mix it at a 1/3 strength, as the coating seemed to be too much, but it works!
hehe not quite sure which one you mean as they're both next to the silver dragon... the long skinny one? thats an anthurium warocqueanum or queen anthurium! Had been on my wishlist for ages!! The other big leaf one is an anthurium regale

Hi Emma, what's the big leaf plant in ur cabinet with the white striking veins? (not the long leaf anthurium) it's the one near to the silver dragon

@@GoodGrowing ah yeah its the regale, thanku!
