I LOVE Red Hulk in this deck but is he overhyped?

- Red Hulk is the first new Spotlight card of this season of Marvel Snap and a lot of people have been looking forward to him. I’ve seen a lot of hype surrounding him and people are understandably excited about him being a counter to High Evolutionary decks. I actually really love him in this Hela deck but is he a little bit overhyped? I don’t like being reliant on my opponent for power and him showing the opponent that he’s in your hand makes him a lot worse than we initially thought. There is no surprise element with him so I don’t expect his cube rate to be good. I think at the moment he would go really well in 2 decks: Thanos and Hela. I decided to go with Hela because I really do not like how strong and flexible Thanos decks are - they are also super expensive since so many new cards go well with Thanos.

I was lucky enough to pull Red Hulk in one, now I feel kinda obliged to play him this week.
i got him in 1 but still opened 4 to get the other cards
Same I got lucky with only one key
I opened two and got the echo variant and red hulk
I spent 3 keys and didn't get him
I'm in pain

This was the deck I needed. Hela meta is scrumptious and Red Hulk needed something to run wild in.

Nice video, I've also noticed he doesn't seem to be a win condition, like, you got Red Hulk on your hand, you won the game like Loki was back when he was released, he's definitely cool and has a unique ability but I tried to get him with 1 Key and got Sebastian Shaw instead, I'm having a blast with Silver Surfer and I don't think I'll spend another Key, I'll save them for Valentina.
Pulled red hulk first time so I'm happy to just have him in the collection for when someone finds a broken deck
Having a fun run with Red Hulk in a Thanos/Lockjaw/Blob deck! Almost every Limbo game gives him a final turn boost...19 or 23 power!

I think the best partner for red hulk is sandman, it limit the enemies use of energy.
Lamby use sandman as well and it went pretty good.
I just got Red Hulk from my first spotlight cache! Should I open for any of the other cards or save? (I'm f2p so it's really hard to get spotlights)
It depends on your collection. How many cards are you missing?
@@ninaisnoob missing all new cards from last month apart from Obsidian. And missing important cards like Ms Marvel, Blob and Hope Summers. And missing a few Series 4 cards...
@@marcusweltzien2564 not sure if nina will respond but if she does and disagrees, go with her bc she knows more lol. But I would say don't open any more because you dont need either of the other cards very much. I'm also f2p (for the most part, I do buy season pass tho) and I never got echo and I've been fine. I did get shaw but I rarely use him.
Echo and Shaw are not worth it at all, lol. If you get the most desired card on your first try you always bail and save up for upcoming weeks, not even a discussion

Other than the obvious draw back of it not being controlled and you can discard hela is there any real reason not to run corvus in the first deck you showed?
I just don’t like the randomness of Corvus when you can target cards you discard
@@ninaisnoob that's what I was guessing I just assumed the extra energy would be helpful if you don't hit the Hela
Use him in my Hela deck thats just Hela, Modok, Susan and a few more discard cards with a ton of huge power cards cause i dknt have BK. Even if you get him on the final turn, an 11 power card that can potentially turn into a 15 at the very end is stupid good, lmao.
Gonna use him in my Thanos deck. Love me some more Thanos options!

Why do you hate Thanos? Genuine question :o
He’s too strong at the moment. The rocks provide him with so much utility - it’s super easy to make a deck with him because you don’t need to add any 1-2 cost cards. Why add location control cards, movement cards, energy reducing cards or strong 1 drops when you can just add Thanos and have it all.
And too many new cards (cull, mockingbird, hope, even skaar) work perfectly with him too.

he has too many drawbacks vs his ability
-he needs to be in your hand to work
-he cost 6
-He helps the enemy with intel
i feel they can make him 6/10, gain 3 or 2 power instead of 4 but now it will happen in hand or deck and will not alert the enemy
if high evo hulk doesn’t do it, why should he have so many drawbacks ?

Nothing screams "skill" like playing Hela.
Still hating on Thanos. Don't you streamers realize that you're going to be the death of this game? If you force the devs to do something about the current meta king, then something else will just replace it and will annoy you to the point that you complain to the devs again, and again and again. A vicious cycle that will make the game fully P2W and render tokens as pointless as gold has become. I get that this is your job and you see Thanos more often than the average player, but if you're going to complain about it all the time, then maybe find a new job.
Do you know that me complaining doesn’t affect the devs at all? There are probably 2 content creators they listen to when it comes to balance and I’m not one of them.
Most of the time they use game data to balance the game.
Also, Thanos is the most P2W bullshit card ever because every single new card works well with him so if you want the optimal Thanos deck you can’t be F2P. So don’t give me the whole “F2P” BS here please 🤣
It's more your influence on the community...if the community is filled with Thanos haters, the devs will do something about it. And sure optimal Thanos is P2W, but he's the reason I decided to get Hope, drop 6k tokens on blob and use keys to get Mockingbird and Cull. It took a while to get those resources, if it all gets nerfed I'm gonna be pissed about it.
