Ferodo has many different compounds, would have been nice if you added the DS2500 compound to the info in the video. (I paused the video and checked the part number).

Love this BRZ series. What a great little car for the price. Still mad that Toyota on the GR86 for charging manual enthusiast for the auto and eyesight safety even when they don't get ANY of that, but certainly continue to be impressed by this little BRZ.
My slotted DBA brakes with EBC pads was day and night difference though haven't gone the braided lines on the 180SX still nice as a daily.
I put Ferrodo DS2500 pads and DBA discs on my 350Z along with braided lines and i could lap literally all day. i had to change the pads every track day though as they would only last about 1.5 track days + road driving in between pushed that hard. They never faded though.
On my GR86 all I did was change the pads (project mu club racer advanced) and brake fluid to Castrol SRF and zero fade. Brake cooling ducts will help more than expensive rotors. Aftermarket rotors here in the states are $72

Id love to see you do a driver mod review where you take a boy racer from the streets put him in a car on the track then again after pro driver training and a weeks worth of back to back track days to practice then see the difference in lap time. ps keep up the good work
How good is the ducting from the factory? I remember the 370z had the same problem and the lack of air ducts were the main reason.
Shockworks have breaks too should change them
If it had 350 horses power, would this brake up grade work
That's like the only new car I'd buy tbh, the mustang isn't quite exactly there for me

@@aDaWaN thanks, you have sharper eyes than med :) I have the 2500 on my gt86, like them alot as an all round pad. From daily driving in -20C to hard track driving,( just keep the session length a bit shorter)

These cars are so under braked from factory they have smaller rotors than an MRS a car that weighs almost 300kg less than the 86 has bigger rotors what was toyota thinking with the 86. I never cracked rotors on any cars till I bought an 86.
For a minute I thought it was "Frodo" pads...
Now if only GR 86s existed to buy for the non RUclips influencer/product development crowd that would be great.
Handing out jabs, eh? Well, it was 2010 when Toyota hinted at a sub $20000 rwd car. So I'll give you that.
