My big cats are well trained not to scratch anything but what is intended (lots of work on this from a young age) and Missy is still in the learning process. It also helps that they have the privilege of going outside where they can scratch trees and get rid of excess energy. 🙂

It's one of the first things they do in the morning when they go outside. On average, they do this 2-3 times a day.
