    I've just started playing tennis,, crossing over from racquetball where I'm very mechanically and fundamentally sound,, I watch as many of your videos as I can ,and then try to put it into practice,, whenever I hit a good serve or shot,, I always envision you next to me saying," SUPER GOOD"!,, And I'm motivated to continue trying, you're a fantastic coach on top of being a great guy, would love to spend some time on the court with you

    can you explain why is Sabalenka making so many double faults?? or other players like Thiem or Shapovalov in pressure points?? can you make some videos commenting errors/tactics from recent matches of top/not top pro players?? it doesn't hav to be long content, just some simple, few minutes tips or else..

      Pressured points, all mental, sometimes they will unconsiously slow down in the arm or toss wrong

    • @andreavitale2845
      @andreavitale2845 Год назад +5

      @@Dennis-highlights I assume it is most often the inhibition effect of the underlying e neuronal system responsible for the vegetative (sympathicus) response mode "Flight" or "Shock" (related to muscle movement). Shock equals freeze equals no approaching momentum or force but rather a hold of motoric actions. Flight euqals withdraw equals hold back euals no approaching momentum or force (e.g. towards the ball).
      In order to overcome this neuronal response in pressure points you need to develope a controlled attacking attitude/ response. A coach or therapist can tell you how to develop or put yourself in such a response.
      This is my advice due to my studies in various subjects in psychology.

    she is 12? she has such a powerful aura about her. as a coach also, these students always make me stress because i don't know what advice too give them.
    the fact the parents decided on getting Patrick to do a lesson on her serve and not her volley or forehand/backhand ect.. must mean her other shots are scary good also. unless this was just a way too get her noticed.
    One of the advices i always give too beginners learning the serve.. have the hand/racket going to your target. Guess it always applies even to experienced players. Tho i am a bit disappointed that Patrick had nothing else to really add to her serve as that means i have nothing else to copy from in terms of giving advice. But then again she was already killing it.. and if there was something more too add. her style is already engraved into her and we don't want to change what clearly works.
    also she is really pretty.

    There is already very, very good for 12 years. So she is no near to starting playing tennis but has been certainly been coached. So this is not a beginner tips video. Btw, she is tall for 12 years

      for that reason, it seems, back shoulder stays too level, notwithstanding the proper high toss shoulder and proper rotation
