Love the s1. Pocket rocket. Can't justify swaping my stage 3 2009 manual s3 for it but love them.
Think you should get one and make it a project car. There’s not much out there on the S1. Just make it a fast road car (not for the track), I’m sure many would be interested👍🏼

Why didnt any one say what the horsepower/torque is now?? All we got is probably running high figures lol
L430 turbo so probably 410-450hp
Cos it’s not dynoed yet. Bad day 380, 420 on a good day with this setup. Upgraded fuel system gets you to 450. Torque is similar high 400-500s
I've just got an S1 with Littco L480. -in need of a new tune.
What suspension are people putting on these? Mine has H&R springs but it's too harsh so I need to consider a change.
KW v3 best for that kinda spec!
Running stock still. KW or BC coilers though are good. H&R known to be harsh really

These cars are honestly beasts it just feels like you can throw them around bends at any speed with no hesitation at all. Genuinely really crazy confidence inspiring cars.
Because they eat their own gearbox for days. Even stock the clutch struggles
@@ARDEN440i That’s a load of crap buddy. You obviously don’t own one do you? Same box as the manual 8V S3 & manual Golf 7.5 R. Clutch is fine with stock power & not difficult to change.
@@sunsetgarage755 Not a load of crap. It's well known everywhere the stock clutch goes on these cars at even stock power level unless you baby the car. I literally have a friend who owns one, and his clutch went.
