5 out has been the meta for the past few years along with a 2-3 zone on defense. The mfs in the 2k league have been using that forever and of course the rest of the player base is gonna follow them.
i think regarding multiple effective dribble moves, there will always be one that’s better than the others, even by a little bit, and most 2K players will just use that one because most of us jump on the metas when it comes to dribbling, but i hope there will be more variety than someone hitting 5 jamal murray’s per posssesion.

I just hope they can recreate the look and feel of athletic, switch hand lay ups and reverse lay ups could look a little smoother. I feel like Jordan’s lay up package in nba 2k11 was smoother and looked better than what we have now.
I would like to have a builder where I can put my attributes anywhere I want. I want to be able to have a high vertical without my driving dunk automatically going up. Or have a higher ball handle without my driving layup automatically going up. I want to be able to set up my attributes exactly the way I want to have them.
THE PROBLEM isn't that defense sucked last year, it was all the SO-CALLED Dribble heads and SO-CALLED COMP dudes who complained about defense at the beginning of the year and tht happens every year, people cant spam side to side so they complain tht defense is too OP, 2K needs to not touch anything for the first 2-3 months let people figure out wht works and wht doesnt

I said I wasn’t buying 24 and my friends convinced me. After 20+ years and playing this game at a VERY HIGH level each year. I think this will be my very last year and I don’t have plans to buy it. I’m SO UNENTHUSIASTIC about this new upcoming game. It’s the same broken game every year, that sucks people dry. THE GAME ISNT GOOD! The only people I believe who think it is good are casuals (who play 1 hour out the week, or newbies who just started playing in the last 3-4 years… I’m gone! Good point on the translucent meter. I also noticed it seems to be two meters. There’s an arrow going up and then in the upside down V there is a wide to peak meter. Could be a way to deter the cheaters by adding multiple aspects within the meter.

Bump steals being buffed makes sense with a bigger court, as running into people in general should be harder.
