Hi Everyone. I hope you are all well. Phew, it's really hot here in the UK. I really enjoyed making these stone / rock soap, they were good fun. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below and I will get back to you.
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the login password. I would love any help you can give me.
@Caden Kellen thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Your face when you showed the “guest soap sized” rocks was priceless. I love your sense of humour. Once I get through the difficult weeks ahead of me making my own rock soaps is going to be top of my fun-things-to-do list. It will blow my 6yo son’s mind. Thank you for making your videos informative enough so it will be a relatively easy project 💓
At first I thought "oh you're going into too much detail. I don't need to know all of that." I was so wrong and was pleasantly delighted to watch it all and how it all came together. It's an excellent video and an inspiration. Anyone would be happy to have these in their bathroom as an accent. I can already imagine them in a high end bathroom. I can't wait to see next month's challenge.
Thank you so much Tami. I do try to do all my videos giving as much hopefully useful info as possible, rather than doing the 'soap to music' type. I don't go right back into weighing and mixing all the oils etc, but it can be difficult to strike the right balance because everyone wants different things. So pleased you enjoyed watching it, thank you for giving it a go :-)
@@IDreamInSoap you are doing great. I'm trying to comment on RUclips videos because I heard that it helps. I hope you get many viewers and just as many commenters.
@@tamirundell8392 Thank you so much Tami, that's so lovely of you. Yes, commenting, liking etc all that helps, watching the ads sends me a tiny bit of money each time (but it all ads up) , but with those horrible long ones, if you watch 30seconds that counts, so no need to watch them all if you fancied doing that. Thank you so much for your generous thoughts :-)
You are amazingly clever. I cannot believe what you do! So inspiring. I love your videos. You are a true artist. Cannot believe you made your own moulds!!!! Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge. Xx
Just WOW!!!!! How you look at an item , object or a lifeform and then recreate it in soap amazes me. I also believe you have the patience of a saint lol. 😊😊
Hello again, lovely to see you. Thank you so much for another lovely comment. Yes, for soap I have lots of patience, other things (like waiting for things to arrive) not so much :-)
Wow, Lisa, you must have the patience of a saint! Making the molds first! What an endeavor. I love watching your videos. Talk about hot- I live in South Florida and along with the pandemic, we have been threatened by a hurricane. Fortunately it was downgraded to a tropical storm and not doing as much damage - but where I live - on the Treasure Coast - it has been very windy and rainy. Lucky though as we have not lost power or had any real problems. Thanks for showing us your talent!
Thank you so much Linda, oh goodness me, I bet our hot is like a nice cool evening to you, we're at 30 degrees, which is boiling for us, mind you we don't have air conditioning in our homes over here. oooh take care in that storm and lucky you've still got power, at least you can still stick blend :-)

I love this tutorial! I am a huge rock fan and when I'm outside I rarely look at where I'm going because I am afraid I will miss seeing a beautiful rock who might find it's way into my pocket. People say I should look where I'm going but I guess I like to live dangerously. Okay, I'm not THAT bad, but still. I appreciate that you added instructions on how to make our own rock moulds, that will be so handy! These rock soaps you've made are beautiful. Soap Maker from Edmonton City, Canada here: What is this Soap magic?!?! i could never take this much time to create a masterpiece this beautiful because i am trying to manage a Brand that is efficient $$$ and i do not have the time to create these. if there were a way to create smaller versions of these (purchase a smaller mould on internet) and place Soap gems /stones /rocks on top of my cubes of Soap, i would. :) i actually am placing REAL stones inside some of my cubes because they have healing properties. Your voice was so relaxing i almost took a nap watching this using the West Edmonton Mall WiFi. Kind of like A.S.M.R.
You’re so sincere! I thought you would use the tiny stones or order a mould, but you MADE your own moulds, Lisa! ♥️ I was laughing out of sheer disbelief. Loving your work!
He, he, thank you. I was tempted to do the tiny stones as a little joke, but the silicone is quite expensive to just use up on that. So pleased you like them :-)
I've been watching soap making videos for the last few months now. This is one of the best soaps I've seen so far. Hats off to you! The fact that you went into so much detail for each layer shows that you are a true artist. Amazing! 👏👏👏
Your actual river rocks are gorgeous, we have nothing that looks so beautiful, your river rocks you made are equally as beautiful. Well done Lisa, stay safe and well
You should look into how to make 2-part molds. I did it years ago for fantasy miniatures and it's basically very simple. Then you'd only need a tiny hole to pour into (which is cut into later) and can easily remove the molded item perfectly the original shape.
Thank you so much. I have actually been looking into that, I do worry that with a complete 2 piece mold it would be difficult to stop the batter leaking out though as I worry that just one piece on top of the other wouldn't be enough without some casing to keep the 2 parts together (like the bottles I used here), but I'd be keen to hear any ideas if you have any :-)
@@IDreamInSoap I don't think so. Then the stuff I poured would have also. If you want to be sure just put a plank wood on the 2 sides and tie them with some tough rubberbands together like I did for my fishing weight molds to make it more stable. And if you use hard silicone you can really press it together with a clamp. You don't need soft silicone with a 2 part mold.
You might get a small rim that you need to remove. But if the mold is done correctly, then 2 woods that are clamped together I doubt it would ever be leaking.
Awwwe, those little ones! I have definitely gotten my share of items that left me disappointed in the mail before. Why is it they always run small? Lol. Wonderful soaps as always!
Love those great colors an other ingenious video I made the silicone insert as per your instructions for thé bee hive and it went great thanks to your great vidéo

So pleased you like them :-)
I also wanted to make stone soap but did not like the mold. Now thanks to you I know exactly what to do!
That is excellent news, and these ones feel so good to hold, lovely shape. I hope your turn out really well
I've been watching soap making videos for the last few months now. This is one of the best soaps I've seen so far. Hats off to you! The fact that you went into so much detail for each layer shows that you are a true artist. Amazing! 👏👏👏
Thank you so much Apurba, that's so very kind of you :-)
Very impressive and awesome, to say the least! They look spot on! Cheers 👍💕
That's so kind of you to say Cheryl, thank you so much 😊
Ummmm ... is there anything you Can't do????? Once again, I'm left in amazement 💕
AW, thank you so much. Luckily, not found many things to confound me yet, but sure I will at some point :-)
Wow, you’re so clever! I love them!
Your actual river rocks are gorgeous, we have nothing that looks so beautiful, your river rocks you made are equally as beautiful. Well done Lisa, stay safe and well
That's so kind of you to say Tanya, thank you so much 😊 and lovely to see you again
Never had leaking neither with fluid epoxy nor lead for fishing weights.
And lead is heavy so it does more pressure than soap.
You might get a small rim that you need to remove.
But if the mold is done correctly, then 2 woods that are clamped together I doubt it would ever be leaking.
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!
That's so kind of you to say Theresa, thank you so much 😊
You are just The Master Soaper! I love the soaps and I love that you took the time to make the molds for a full rock.👏😍

Awwwe, those little ones! I have definitely gotten my share of items that left me disappointed in the mail before. Why is it they always run small? Lol. Wonderful soaps as always!
He, he, I know, I was all disappointed as I was all set up to make my mold, never mind I got some good ones in the end.
I'm starting to order less and less online. The discount is no longer there, and I've been disappointed too many times.
Love those great colors an other ingenious video I made the silicone insert as per your instructions for thé bee hive and it went great thanks to your great vidéo
Thank you Johanne. Ooh that's so exciting to hear you did the beehive :-)
