I like the prospects that have worked out with the Bucks, the Bucks should really consider looking at some of the centers though. I 100% agree we don't need another 19 and 20 year old developmental project. I don't want to draft a guy who is 3-4 years away, that is going to hurt us. Our young guys are mostly filled with one and done players, look how they've helped us, not that much, if at all. Livingston, AJ Green, Beauchamp, Jackson Jr, TyTy Washington they are all replicable. We draft Dillon Jones he would probably be our best wing, that's how bad our wing depth is. We need help in all positions, we need a serious upgrade in our roster. Jon Horst is not known for his scouting and finding diamonds in the rough, he better be this year, not just in the draft but free agency as well. Look at the Pistons they found a diamond in the rough in Chimezie Metu. If the Pistons cut Metu, the Bucks should pick him up ASAP. As a matter fact there are some players on the Pistons squad that can help us such as Jared Rhoden and Buddy Boeheim. Look out for the Pistons, they are sorting out their roster, and some of those guys that are good will be cut.
Love to see a podcast on if bucks could trade lopez and middleton or if they retire can Buck rebuild get younger and still be in title picture next year is this possible with the new rules
That Newton is a firm no for me for the Bucks. Johnson I like and he would be a good young pickup. He seems to know how to play the game of basketball from a physical and a mental thinking standpoint.
Newton spent 4 years in college, he's guaranteed to contribute compared to a pg who only spent 1-2 years in college. It's not just the Bucks but almost all NBA teams are working out with mostly seniors and juniors. I am surprised they figured it out by now, one and done players most of them either end up a bust or are 2-5 years away. A lot of them up nowhere near as good as hyped. Sure you can get some good ones and even all-star level players like SGA and Jayson Tatum, but that's a rarity. Bradly Beal is a one and done player and the Suns are still talking about needing a PG. KAT is a one and done player, he's barley improve defensively and never uses his size to his advantage, same thing with DeAndre Ayton. This draft class has a lot of good point guards, but I would not draft a pg with 2 years of college experience or less. They need 3 years minimum.
No they don't have a type...the only type the Bucks have is old past their prime players who they feel they cud mustar 2 more seasons out of...I mean let's get real here...we all kno the Bucks are old, slow sloppy nd past their prime nd I didn't even include Brook...besides Dame, Giannis, AJax, Green, Marjon we shud hit the start over button...THIS TEAM IS THE TRU DEFINITION OF INSANITY
If we have the cap space, the assets, and the draft picks I would replace everyone in the roster except for Dame and Giannis. There is a possibility we can significantly improve the roster if we get good/the right players in free agency, and we get good pick ups in the draft. Also the possibility to trade Brook or Middleton for a better return. But Jon has to thread the needle, he can do it.
@owainkanaway8345 I wouldn't trade away our young core...they stay but everybody else might have to be expendable minus Dame nd Giannis...if we run it back with this roster we already kno wat the outcome gonna b...been the same way 3yrs str8...Ajax not goin anywhere. ...Green not goin anywhere. ...I luv our guys but we're not goin anywhere with them on the roster nd quite frankly Pat C is holding Green nd AJax from fully maturing as players...time to let go honestly
@@epicantfee Our young core is bad, the only reason to keep them is because we have no choice. We draft Dillon Jones he would probably be our best small forward, well he would definitely be better than all our wings except for Middleton. I would look at the Detroit Pistons for depth because the Pistons might cut some players that would help us like Buddy Boeheim, Tosan Evbuomwan, Stanley Umude and Jared Rhdoen. I pray the Pistons cut Jared Rhoden. If we can get Jared Rhoden, he would immediately be our starter at shooting guard. Xavier Tillman and James Wiseman are the players I want the Bucks to pick up in free agency. So we can upgrade depth on this team to make us contenders, it all depends if Jon can pull it off, it's going to be difficult for Jon to thread the needle, but it's possible.
