@@twolvescountrypodcast oh I know the process, but this is also where slim pickings on future picks should play a role. Selecting players that most likely won't be around or as valuable is not a good idea. We need veterans like Batum, Fournier etc for the play now minutes not rookies.
@@twolvescountrypodcast I agree with that. When you get a chance look at guys drafted at 22 or older and see how long they were good or how long they played for the team that drafted them.
@WolfKing158 I’m a very big draft fan, I understand the concern with older players. But I actually believe these older players like Schierman and Kolek specifically are better prospects than every possible 19 year old that’s available at our pick.

Great teams stay great when they draft well. Drafting players does not prevent us from getting similar vet min guys like you mentioned.
