- Back with Michael and his beautiful 2018 Dodge Charger Scat Pack with the 6.4 L Hemi V8 doing a AMSOIL engine flush oil change with AMSOIL Signature Series 0W-40 motor oil. The charger held 7 quarts of motor oil.

Can’t go wrong with Amsoil, on my 2020 Toyota Corolla SE with a 2 liter engine, can wait to change the oil to Amsoil 0w16 with the Amsoil ea15k09 oil filter after I’m done with the Toyota care.
Anytime that I use the engine flush, I always buy a new oil filter from any auto parts store. While the flush does it’s work, the new filter will catch whatever comes loose.

Eben do you use engine flush each oil change?
Yes, on diesel engines because of the turbo and the Soot thickening & on gas engines I use it only the first oil change

Do you recommend draining oil for 2 hours after all flushes?
I usually let it drain for about 10 minutes we just did it for this car because we had another car being worked on at the same time so we had the time to let it drain a little more.

Is the wix filter as good as the amsoil?
That's a great question the Wix filter is great it's just not good for as long so when I use the Wix filters I personally change the filter at 6,500 miles.
When I use the Amsoil filter I change the filters at 12,500 miles
I want to see conventional, "full" synthetic, and 100% synthetic compared under a microscope. Make it happen Eben.

Can I use the engine flush on a motorcycle?
I wouldn't because of the clutch plates in there.
It's best to use it on things that have no modifiers stay away from differentials and certain things where you can't get all the fluid out

How often should you use the flush ?
That's an excellent question I recommend using it whenever you think your engine has built up.
I personally always use it on the very first time when switching to Amsoil.
Also if you have a diesel motor I recommend using it every oil change because most diesels have a turbo and you can get turbo cooking and it's important to keep all those components clean.
You can use it every time however if your engine is clean and you already are using Amsoil I personally don't flush it every time on my car but my car is a gas car.

Oh you don't have to wait long for it to drip out at all.
The oil comes out really quick when you do a flush because it thins out the oil.
You can always take it somewhere to have it done you just want to make sure you watch them do it just because I've had a lot of customers where they put the wrong filter on or they keep the oil or whatever so it's always good to make sure you watch
As far as what I recommend I would run what's on the lookup guide unless you are doing racing and then I would do the dominator racing oil.

If so, that would be awesome and seems kinda too good to be true. I like the Mopar, and am building a Challenger SRT8
The oil filter is good for 25000 miles of normal driving which is like half City half Highway.
If you're doing hardcore City driving for a lot of idling / track driving you would definitely want to change the oil filter at 15000
@@Syntheticoilprotection Wow that's incredible dude, and have always been impressed with Amsoil products. I wouldn't use it in a regular ole commuter car and just go for decent basics, but nothing except the best goes into my SRT8 and always get quality US made lubricants etc for her. Obviously it's not a daily and doesn't sit in traffic, but does get put through the paces at times and ran down the 1320 on occasion. So I'd want to change it at 15K, but that is still decent and get your money's worth. I'm actually running the recommended Pennzoil full synthetic, as well as recently began using a special filter made by Mopar specifically for SRT powered cars and is rated at a whopping 21 microns. It does not say how often to change it out, but imagine that it would be the same thing with that hi of a rating. I'm a big fan of roadkill & long-time fellow Mopar aficionado David Freiburger, and they did a test of the top tear full synthetic motor oils. The best one was Amsoil and second place was Pennzoil, which was really surprising to me and thought that mobile 1 would have taken second since it's so heavily advertised as a top rated one
Yeah believe it or not it pays you back even more to use it in a commuter because you're good for the whole year also the gas mileage savings more than pays for the oil so no matter what vehicle it always pays you back way more also it's seed your engine and you don't have to add as much oil your cold starts are quicker so your starter last longer show all around it's just a big difference.
